A fascinating figure. Great nationalist and figure if somewhat naive. Had the Axis won (or the Stalinist Soviets) Mr. Bose would have found himself a puppet to a system that would make the Raj look like Disneyland. I doubt the Soviets would have secretly imprisoned him. They would have loved to turn a figure like that loose in post-war British India.

@Zebred2001 The British Raj followed the same ideology as Nazi Germany outside of Europe i.e. Indians were considered racially inferior. People were routinely detained, threatened, and tortured. Why do you think Japan joined the WWII? Because the league of nations failed to give equality to all human race. Japanese, along with the rest of the world, were deemed to be an inferior race.
