I'm under the impression aizen was at a level even death won't take him with his regeneration powers so sealing would have been the only true way to win.
and I do consider it ichigo win because he caused aizen to be rejected by the jewel (can't spell the name) by basically over powering him in every way there by making him look weaker
Anyways, so because of the fact that Aizen would retreat if he could if he was at a disadvantage, Yama needed a big area of effect type of attack. If Aizen was more honorable and wasn't going to either run or do something cheap (like Wonderweiss), then Flames of Hell woulda been massive overkill.
@gundam116 What do you mean if Yama was so strong? The only reason Yama needed Flames of Hell was to keep Aizen from running away. If Aizen was simply planning on fighting to the death he'd very quickly be rape stomped by Yamamoto. But Aizen had already retreated in the past when confronted by Yama (and others).
Plus Aizen himself said Yama was far stronger then himself.

This UchihaEntertainment fellow is pretty stupid... Aizen admitted that Yamamoto could best him in a fight. The only reason Aizen didn't die during his clash with Yamamoto is because he had the foresight to create Wonderweiss.
But yea even with the hougyoku i dont think Aizen himself would be on Yama's level. The hougyoku made aizens attributes like strength and speed etc better. But it didnt make his shikai better/different. Gin still could exploit its weakness. So aizens bankai woudnt be any better because of it since its 5-10 times greater then his shikai itself, not his butterfly forms.
Also let me make something clear, normal shikai yama that we seen many times before is not on the level of non bankai hougyoku aizen. But with "Flames of Hell", I think it puts him on aizens level when he was transformed. That move was the most awesome site of destruction ever seen in bleach. Mugetsu sucked next to it. All it did was make the sky go dark and fail to kill aizen even tho ichigo was just owning him lol. Mugetsu was en epic FAIL.
In fact i dont even think yama would need bankai to beat plotkai ichigo. YES ICHIGO HAD MORE POWER THEN SHIKAI YAMA before he lost his powers. But I think hed have barely not enough to kill yama. Hed use mugetsu and seriously injure yama then lose his powers. Then yama wins. Also, a shinigamis potentail is decided by how much reaitsu they have. Never was it stated that ichigo has ANYWHERE near how much yamamoto has. I dont think Yama will be surpassed by anyone we've seen yet in bleach.
But yea I think the reason ichigo gains power so fast compared to all the other bleach characters, is because he AGES faster as well. It would make perfect sense. Ichigo ages 10 times quicker then shinigami. So why woudnt he also gain power 10 times faster? Dont forget that ichigo will only live to 120 years at most. And he probably hit his top potentail for power when he fought aizen. But he coudnt even beat aizen then and aizen didnt use bankai. bankai aizen or yama would rape ichigo hard
As for Ichigo vs Yama, with his plotkai hax powers ichigo would still lose. He coudnt even beat Aizen who never had to use bankai on ichigo. Urahara and ichigo beat Aizen, by himself, ichigo was about to get killed by aizen after mugetsu FAILED.
i would have loved to see aizen in his final transformation against yama. i think yama might actually have to go bankai. but he'd stil win. the only shinigami alive with the actually potential to pass him are hitsugaya( because of his current power and youth) and kenpachi because of the fact that he hasn't really learned anything aside from a little kendo and is still ridiculously strong by regular captain standards. not sure about kurosaki, he struggles with himself so much its pathetic.

Aizen cant beat Yamamoto point blank period 1vs1 Aizen said he cant beat Yamamoto thats why he created wonderwiess and even after that Yamamoto was about to beat Aizens ass his move from earlier was about to blow up everything up so he absorbed it and thats what beat him and even then Aizen still about to get owned buy Yamamotos Kido but ran away with minor injuries so in all that i dont see how aizen could have won.

@mallie5000 strictly speaking ichigo didn't turn into his sword he turned into its attack but ichigo was owning aizen befor he did that and its not that ichogo weakened him as such its that he so thoughraly owned him in one move caused the hogyoku to reject aizen and allowed him to be sealed and think the hogyoku would have rejected aizen eventualy anyway coz ichigo was so badass so yeah i stilll say he is the bruce lee of bleach

I'm under the impression aizen was at a level even death won't take him with his regeneration powers so sealing would have been the only true way to win.
and I do consider it ichigo win because he caused aizen to be rejected by the jewel (can't spell the name) by basically over powering him in every way there by making him look weaker

Anyways, so because of the fact that Aizen would retreat if he could if he was at a disadvantage, Yama needed a big area of effect type of attack. If Aizen was more honorable and wasn't going to either run or do something cheap (like Wonderweiss), then Flames of Hell woulda been massive overkill.

@gundam116 What do you mean if Yama was so strong? The only reason Yama needed Flames of Hell was to keep Aizen from running away. If Aizen was simply planning on fighting to the death he'd very quickly be rape stomped by Yamamoto. But Aizen had already retreated in the past when confronted by Yama (and others).
Plus Aizen himself said Yama was far stronger then himself.

@EnnetsuJigoku he was going to close the flames in a pilar like form killing himself aizen and every1 else the explosion would kinda be controled so that the giant senkaimon doesnt have a scratch but after wonderweiss sealed the flames they were about to incinerate everything and bring karakura back which would probably mean aizen is victorious :P (i hate that guy he is so gay, yamma-ji totally pwned him)

But yea even with the hougyoku i dont think Aizen himself would be on Yama's level. The hougyoku made aizens attributes like strength and speed etc better. But it didnt make his shikai better/different. Gin still could exploit its weakness. So aizens bankai woudnt be any better because of it since its 5-10 times greater then his shikai itself, not his butterfly forms.

Also let me make something clear, normal shikai yama that we seen many times before is not on the level of non bankai hougyoku aizen. But with "Flames of Hell", I think it puts him on aizens level when he was transformed. That move was the most awesome site of destruction ever seen in bleach. Mugetsu sucked next to it. All it did was make the sky go dark and fail to kill aizen even tho ichigo was just owning him lol. Mugetsu was en epic FAIL.

In fact i dont even think yama would need bankai to beat plotkai ichigo. YES ICHIGO HAD MORE POWER THEN SHIKAI YAMA before he lost his powers. But I think hed have barely not enough to kill yama. Hed use mugetsu and seriously injure yama then lose his powers. Then yama wins. Also, a shinigamis potentail is decided by how much reaitsu they have. Never was it stated that ichigo has ANYWHERE near how much yamamoto has. I dont think Yama will be surpassed by anyone we've seen yet in bleach.

But yea I think the reason ichigo gains power so fast compared to all the other bleach characters, is because he AGES faster as well. It would make perfect sense. Ichigo ages 10 times quicker then shinigami. So why woudnt he also gain power 10 times faster? Dont forget that ichigo will only live to 120 years at most. And he probably hit his top potentail for power when he fought aizen. But he coudnt even beat aizen then and aizen didnt use bankai. bankai aizen or yama would rape ichigo hard

i would have loved to see aizen in his final transformation against yama. i think yama might actually have to go bankai. but he'd stil win. the only shinigami alive with the actually potential to pass him are hitsugaya( because of his current power and youth) and kenpachi because of the fact that he hasn't really learned anything aside from a little kendo and is still ridiculously strong by regular captain standards. not sure about kurosaki, he struggles with himself so much its pathetic.

Just cuz Shunsui said Hitsu could surpass him someday, didnt mean that hed also surpass Yamamoto. Shunsui is a very powerful captain, but is an ant next to yama lol. But yea I think even with the hougyoku that aizen was at best shikai yama level. Dont forget he never even used bankai on ichigo.

The fact that yamamoto doesn't speak all the time doesn't mean he is idiot. It is commended from aizen after all that he haves sharp mind. Aizen got that strong only because he posses the Hogyoku. If the Hogyoku didin't protect him from yamamoto's Hado #96 he would be nothing more than ashes now

Aizen cant beat Yamamoto point blank period 1vs1 Aizen said he cant beat Yamamoto thats why he created wonderwiess and even after that Yamamoto was about to beat Aizens ass his move from earlier was about to blow up everything up so he absorbed it and thats what beat him and even then Aizen still about to get owned buy Yamamotos Kido but ran away with minor injuries so in all that i dont see how aizen could have won.
