I'm really, really sold on the how the game looks, from the isometric camera position to the bizzare colors. The game might be bad but at least it looks really interesting.
Yes, quite a few. I don't know their names, but I know that the website I found these Enterprise 64 games on had a whole section dedicated to 128 games.
Puts me in mind of Solstice (NES) and/or Equinox (SNES). Very much so. I wonder what game actually originated this specific game mechanic. Maybe it was Batman all along.
It's pretty fascinating to see popular games on rare systems! It allows more direct comparisons between the hardware. It looks a pretty capable machine. Any more?
The Enterprise 64 was a very capable system, but it was too expensive for what it offered.

@douro20 Very true, and it came to market far too late to have a chance of success.

excellent programming! Wow. Isometric on C-64

@jrag1000 It's not a C64. It's an Enterprise 64... a completely different computer.

Batman needs a powerup to jump? lol. Fascinating system, this is, though. I grew up on the C64, speccy, and eventually Amigas.

Strange this game is made in the same engine as Solstice :S

I'm so stupid! Hah, I realised that you had plenty of software uploads from this computer. So ignore my previous message :) I'll enjoy these now.

I was taking another look, it reminds me of head over heals on the c64

Not surprising, as Batman on the Spectrum and Amstrad was coded by the same guy who made Head Over Heals.

@Rockythefishman - exactly what i was thinking

Are there any games for the Enterprise that will only run on the 128k variant?

I've a feeling it was Knight Lore by Ultimate: Play The Game (later known as Rare), for the Sinclair Spectrum.
The isometric game engine they used was called fimation.

It looks very much like the Amstrad CPC version. Maybe it was ported?
dartsma464 3 years ago
I'd imagine so. Most Enterprise 64 games appear to be ports of games from more popular Z80 based systems.

interesting vid, but the game looks horrid.
