How do you tell your body to warm it's self up? I'm pretty in touch with my body, I can withstand massive amounts of pain (I have to because of my job), I sorta block out the pain, is that similar?

this is by far one of the best raw youtube clips...amen brother...youre keeping real. i stay "physical" i dont like to excercise..dance, capoeira and yoga only because i love it!
do something that makes you sweat and is fun.....i recently took up breakdancing, its awesome.....hackey sack is also pretty cool. namaste and be cool

So much of what you are sharing with us is about changing our thinking. Maybe I did not get it right before because I felt like I was being punished for being heavy and unhealthy instead of embracing a new way of loving myself.
i agree w/u thou. i like 2 take a walk and run. actually i hate exercisin. it's bin always hard 4 me do it.but i find 1 thing. i like 2 c the sun goes down. then we u take a walk and c it. it look beautiful and i love it. in this way it make me walk pretty much everyday and i helped me loose some pounds. :) tanxs 4 the positive msg u did great job

I wasn't referring to the actual act of physical conditioning, that is fantastic, that is great, plenty of people enjoy doing that. I was talking about the actual word, or "label" that we put on it. The word generally has a negative connotation associated to it, like the word "diet."

I just like climbing things. A steep hillside with a ton of boulders sticking out the side so that I can climb without robes, heaven lol.
