public Option is the name of the insurnace comapny the government will be running. the same insurnace company that if you don't enroll in will be tax more then what you are now paying.

Haven't you been paying attention? Large corporations with a shit-load of people get better rates. I didn't create the system - that's just how it is. And the market is incapable of delivering - because our jacked up rates give the insurance companies the growth needed to drive their stock price, which, gives them their million dollar pay-packages bonuses and stock options. As long as we're paying for their growth every year, our rates never stop going up.

Yes, why is coverage provided through employers? (I.E why is the system designed to favor coverage being tied to employment), this leads to unstable coverage, (people losing coverage when they lose a job) higher premiums for non individualized plans, and puts money in the "greedy ceo's" pockets.

Now like GM, they unit cost per car is est at $5000. But yet they charge $28,000, then put ties,cd player,
windshield,engine,trans, ect. Nows it's $40,000. but yet them came off the line with all that. At the cost of $5000.

Not to mention no public option, and Wall Street gets to keep their million dollar paychecks, bonuses and stock-options out the ying-yang. Don't you just love paying for their lavish lifestyle? The average health insurance industry profit margin is 10.6%, not 3% as you claim, but that's not the whole story, that is after a 36% administrative cost deduction, that translates into hundreds of billions in waste and fraud by the private sector.
Medicare has a administrative cost of 3%, so please tell me again who is being ripped off by whom?

I didn't say health insurance, you did, I said health care. When all is said and done we pay 3% into profit. Medicare is over 20% fraud and waste, that's 500 BILLION a year. That's $62,500 for every American that can't afford health insurance and doesn't qualify for a government program. These are the people YOU think should run our health care? Medicare and Medicaid are broke. Social Security is broke. Why not fix the problem (smart) instead of throwing piles of debt money at it (stupid)?

They don't have enough people to get that bargaining power. And who spent trillions of dollars to create jobs and failed miserably? I agree on your concern over small-medium business; however common sense reforms like a decoupling of employment and insurance coverage would solve this easily. Tax rebates to individuals like the "evil companies" get, why wouldn't Obama support that? Are you trying to tell me there wasn't mass lending throughout Bush's Presidency? And isn't Glass Stegal something about restrictions separating banks and investment banks? So change the regulations allowing small businesses and individuals to associate and buy group health insurance. Allow them to compete over state borders. Pass tort reform which lowered my premiums in MO by 25% when we passed it. No trillions necessary. YOU FOOL, they don't want our money to help us, it doesn't help us to take our insurance money and give half to bureaucracy and the other half to crack heads, meth heads, lazy scum, criminals, and the like!
