Well. I can't think another one doing songs like this. I swear. A song that up with TV Show.... and explode with All Along Watchtower.... a soundtrack that could be as good as the version played by the master Jimi Hendrix. Not to mention the influence of Chopin, coupled with the classic and the modern range of soungs that the composer sought in his compositions. Congratulations Master McCreary.

While the show is all but finished, Bear continues to enhance the BSG culture. It's people like Bear who make BSG such a unique and amazing universe. We should really appreciate Bear's detailed blogging and videos; I can't think of many other examples of this level of engagement with fans.

Fantastic job Bear! "Elegy" is my favorite song from the entire BSG series. I have always loved the sound of the piano & I enjoy the moody tone of this piece. I'm reminded of the scene with Kara going through her daily routine & coming to terms with what has happened. It has a moving forward sound to it. I really like the rolled chords. It is nice to have the album version with the "damaged" piano sound & now this "undamaged" piano to compare them. I like them both! Thanks again! :=)
