OK...is the first woman in the video Annie Parese? She played an assistant to ADA Jack McKoy on Law and Order for a short while, till her character was murdered. She also played an exotic dancer on an earlier L&O episode. By the way, a great song...every one of Bruce's albums from the 2000's has one or two pop songs with catchy beats and tunes--a nice mix with his longer, spoken poetry songs and the instrumentals.

Bruce has played guitars manufactured by a number of companies and luthiers over the years. Many early photos show him playing guitars made by the Canadian instrument maker Larrivée. His request for an acoustic with greater access to higher frets led directly to Jean Larrivée's "C" series of guitars.

Bruce has been performing on guitars custom made by Linda Manzer, Bruce also plays a Resolectric guitar model from the National Guitar Company, and a steel-bodied Dobro resonator guitar.

Looking the posts from those "assigned" to write about this music video, I can certainly understand why you're taking a writing class, you need it. Try starting with getting your spelling and grammer correct first. Then you can move on to deeper stuff, like what the artist is trying to convey in the lyrics.

He's so accomplished its hard to say...his music has varied...jazzy, folky, bluesy, Christian themes, strong political themes, international themes...never dull. I dont anyone that could keep it as fresh for so long. I like stuff on all his CD's. Try Breakfast in New Orleans Dinner in Timbucktoo, an earlier one like Dancing in the Dragons Jaws, or his latest Life Short Call Now

I think Dancing in the Dragons Jaws is Bruce's best album. I remember him playing "Creation Dream" at a concert in Chatham, Ontario back in 1990 w/ pianist Jon Goldsmith...it rocked!

I totally agree...I've been listening to Cockburn for decades, and I just find his stuff since the World of Wonders album sooo dissapointing. Don't get me wrong, he's still my favourite singer/songwriter/musician of all time...but...I just wish he'd do similar stuff to the stuff he did in the 70's and 80's. He does so much "talking" in songs rather than singing. He still has a good voice. I miss Hugh Marsh's violin on his stuff too.

I have been a fan since the early eighties and find that Bruce's music just hits the right chord with how I feel about the world.

I have had the chance to see him live a couple of times and its been a great experience.

Seeing him live at the Folkfest in Winnipeg last summer was great! Bruce even signed my Staff I.D.
