@JustBecauseImAsian u can not use the ethernet port to give internet to your playstation 3. The ethernet only accepts incoming data, and then can transmit that data wirelessly. so you have to plug the wire from your modem or your router into the airport, and then it can transmit it wirelessly. so you ps3 can use the wireless connection. not the wired connection.

@jaywongy Sorry savage, but you are wrong but in a way correct. I personally have an airport express and to answer your question, YES it can be used as a router but you are better off getting an airport extreme or maybe even Timecapsule due to that the airport express can only have 10 clients. Anyways it can easily be used as a router and does a great job at it too. But I still would recommend a more powerful Apple router or another brand of router such as linksys or Dyenx.

@Firas997 Your Airport-Express might be to far from your Mac. Other than that bud, you might have a defective adapter; in this case you'd have to bring it to your local Apple store and talk to an expert about this problem. Hope this helps (:!

@Fullthrottlerev that is weird..try unplugging the airport express for a couple minutes, restart your computer. plug the express back in and then see if it shows up. if anything call apple

@Nicky41205 all it does it take a current wireless network and extend the range of it. so there has to already be an existing wireless network. you plug in the airport, no wires needed, open airport utility, and configure it to join and extend the current wireless network. this DOES NOT magically give u internet access anywhere u go.
