yes guys she did win the 08 chinese nationals. but she won not only because of her own prodigous skill (which i give her credits for - she's AMAZING), but also because cheng fei under-performed. It was natural to pick Cheng Fei over her. Also, she wasn't stellar in other apparatus, so they picked someone more well-rounded, like Deng Linlin.

However, I think she was a great choice for this year's world team!

The problem with most ill-informed Americans: they regard their CNN and other brain washing media as their beloved God. American media have never had positive things to say about China except for panda. Perhaps they should not give panda positive coverage, too because panda is fat and Americans hate to be fat. it is arbitary for you to say that, China didn't give Suilu too many opportunities to compete on international level, compared to Deng Linlin, who made the team in the last minutes. After she won BB and FX champions in the nationals, she was sent to compete in Moscow and France nationals, that's it.

That's very fair, she did fall in every BB world cup competitions before the Olympics in 2008, so she was a risk that China just could not take.

And before we know Linlin, China gave her lots of chance to go to world cup, she didnt make into 07 team just because she's not good enough.
