it has to be either shot in HD and uploaded directly, or rendered in HD after editing. Youtube automatically detects it ( or at least it does for me anyway)

This is the type of camera I have. The microphone is just a small spot on the flip screen, so anything that's not super close to it, sounds really quiet. also ( as seen in the video) there is no auto focus, so there is a small switch on the side near the lens to switch from close up view to distance. it's a pain. also it requires some weird Codecs when playing and editing on computers. I had to search the internet to find them.

with natural sunlight this camera looks AWESOME.  in dark settings, it looks like crap and is really fuzzy. any black surfaces are also victim to the FUZZ. but damn...looked good in this video!

(i use this camera, btw. all new videos are used with the insignia)

can you still record with the swivel screen closed? and what program did you use to edit? i may go out and grab one of these today to mess around with but I need something small and not too expensive...for what I will be using it for there is a good chance im gonna break it lol

You can record with it closed but faced up, i didnt edit this at all just direct upload, but i reccomend Camtasia, This is perfect
