Other singers resent her constant showboating and songwriters aren't anxious to have their songs overpowered to irrelevance by her singing to impress. That's why so many of her songs are so mediocre. Over singing a song is simply a concept she is not acquainted with. This performance is a perfect example of how to put every single performer onstage in a position of nonexistence. Good artists surround themselves with others who are good - none of them want to be around her as cardboard cutouts.

@MannyGiovanni I'm not an idiot and I understand that Ms. Labelle is like 100 years old whereas Lady Gaga is still fresh and exciting, and will be forever. What's important here is not who came first, but who is BETTER. Patti may have been popular in the 40's or whatever, but there's no denying that Lady Gaga can sing 10 times better. Gaga has sold more albums in the last 2 years than Patti has in her whole life.

@Nancyjean24 I wish I couldn't hear her. Unfortunately, my hearing is perfect so I have no trouble hearing every note and tone that comes out of her mouth. I do, however, still struggle with distinguishing her singing from that of a dying cat.
