I don't use a sight, but a point of reference. placed on the stave for determination of height of the shot. It's helpful and I suppose it still doesn't take out the fun part.

Well, its a stationary reference, used additionaly for close ranges, when the gap is long and hard to deterimne. Mostly I gap shoot.

technically its not instinctive after the first shot...because you grow to know how high or low to aim to hit the right spot....but supposedly only like 1/1000 shooters are actually instinctive

i steel belive in ym experiance as a bow hunter.. compound is much easyer if you know the range but both types of bows are very fun to paly around with

A bow is a stick and string intended to launch an arrow. A Compound is a mechanical contraption using pulleys to reduce the pull weight by 70+% so those who without the strength to shoot a bow can still have fun launching arrows :)

raver4 is kind of right,i do fullbore rifle shooting;i.e i can shoot a 5"(13c.m.) group at 1000 mts. with a remington 300mag rifle, it's a sniper rifle realy used for competition. I wouldn't use it in fields to shoot rabbits, thats a job for a shotgun or small bore rifle, light, easy to aim, fast to point without thinking about it. so a bow with weights and stuff aint practical when you go climbing over fences and pushing through hedges, understand,?

your fucking retarded. ever heard of this thing called wind? when yourshooting 30-60 meters with somethign that has flaps as your projectile, wind plays a major part. doesnt matter HOW steady you are, you ahve to account for wind and elevation.
