This game is incredible. The story not only has many real life historical (past and present) parallels, but it has many valuable life lessons. They don't make stuff like this anymore. Ramza was the true hero who never got the credit he deserved, but that never stopped him from seeking truth and justice. He was overshadowed by Delita in history and promoted by the establishment as the real hero, even though he was a manipulative opportunist.

My wife/sister and I found a glimpse of Alma and Ramza still alive. I knew they were still alive. Please do believe me, I saw them after the priest and some others were at Alma's grave.

What people seem to always forget is that Ramza had all those zodiac stones....Remember when Malak was shot by Barinten atop Riovanes? The stone brought him back to life. Ramza had almost the WHOLE collection in the airship graveyard. It's quite obvuous to me that is really Ramza and Alma at the end, and the stones saved them.

At this ending im always crying hehe btw why we not have same great games with wonderful storyline ?? For me two pixels with great storyline is better than best graphic new engine ever thats so sad :( Mybe im just too old and i like oldschool games with poor graphic but really good story .

i love this game it has a great story line.......delita and ovelia die (stabbed each other apparently)......ramza finally saves his younger sister at the end (they leave and no-one sees them again)

..........and im guessing all the other characters (in your party) all die at the end during the big explotion....but how did ramza and his sister make it out.......

This is quite possibly the only video game that made a real impact on my life. I played through it on ps1 and beat it and then the disk shattered so I bought the psp version and am completing everything in it and the story is very good. I thank everyone that helped make this game. It changed lives and video games and very many other things.

While the ending may seem confusing, the main theme of it has had a great impact on my life. Ramza doesn't ask to be a hero, he doesn't ask for recognition, nor expect any kind of reward. He walks the path of justice with his head high and his eyes forward. It taught me that sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest thing you'll ever do, and won't necessarily make everyone happy. And that's the point.

War of the Lions is basically the same game, plot and everything, but has a few extra tidbits, a retranslation, and more character slots / special characters and items.

@freerice9595 One of the biggest changes is the pace of battle. PSP FFT is much slower.

The ending is confusing, such unanswered questions. Such as is that really Ramza and Alma? if so how did they escape? why did it seem like Delita killed that woman? (the Dancer with Olan) it ended so quickly :(

The ending is vague, so the player must interpret it as they believe what happened. It might also help to see the PSP War of the Lions Ending since the script was changed. Possibly adding some things.

@JCrest87 Well we see them riding off somewhere so I guess they are still alive. Since the church could fall if they reveal the seceret of it. Also the churches arm is long so they are probably going somewhere where the church has no influences.

This ending is depressing. Our heros all die, and everyone doesn't know we did anything. And Delita, that basterd, gets all the glory, and the girl.

I refuse to belive Olan actually saw us though. Probably a mirage.

THE ending, pretty nice, really, I would have liked an incest kind of ending, RamzaxAlma ^_^, would have been pretty sweet.
