  • I got that (boom boom boom) I got that ( vroom vroom vroom) !!! Ahhh the caddie that zigs.....

  • @riederernicholas95 No. The Caddy that zigs is the Catera.

  • I hate gm

  • americans sure make ugly cars we havent really made cars since the 50's

  • @xspettacolare americans don't make ugly cars we like them thats tha only thing that matter

  • @13cuttup

no dude we used to make good looking cars only recenty cars gotten better.

  • @xspettacolare WELL WE AMERICANZ LIKE R CARS.

  • @13cuttup

yeah but the cadillac was a joke 10 years ago & almost went bankrupt like most of GM cars.. most of GM made cars are shitty.. japs make better cars..

  • @13cuttup

no dude GM makes crappy cars . cadiolac was a joke 10years ago & almost went bankrupt . this car has nothing on benz or any japan made car

  • @xspettacolare yea dats true i love benz 2death

but stil dat caddy iz a nce car im really thinkin bout buyn 1 2 travel in

  • @13cuttup o me ged WTF r u SPELING i cnt undstnd u

  • @Ragref it iz a nice car im goin 2 buy one to travel in

  • @13cuttup Understandable for me.

  • @xspettacolare 1st, it's Cadillac, not "Cadiolac", and if this car had anything over the rivals from Japan or Germany, it was power. More than the comparable E 430 or GS of the era.

  • jawbreaker purple

  • Are there any well known technical problems for this generation of Cadillac Seville STS as I was planning to buy 2004 Cadillac Sevile STS / SLS from USA and ship it to Canada, please reply to me in a private message.

  • best model cadillac since 1999

  • No ash tray? dam, I think the 96-97 was the best years for these cars

  • In all honesty, how reliable is the Northstar V8? I hear so many conflicting reviews about them. Do they break down and leak often for the 2003 Seville STS motor?

  • @foxmorgan11 They last a long time with the correct maintenance, mine is going on 200k on the motor and my friends has 237k, the thing is , is that they eat oil more than the average car, also you never should baby the northstar engine, it needs to have wot once in a while or the thing will carbon up on you. These cars are a different breed of gm.

  • so its fwd? what a shame!

i really like this car for how it looks, but when i found out it is a fwd car, i dont want to buy this anymore.

  • @soppiedekuthond It still drives like a bat outta hell though.

  • @soppiedekuthond What exactly is the big difference between front wheel and rear wheel drive?

  • @justinjonn

the fun. you cant drift with it for fun when there is snow on the streets.

i think just buy a bmw or mercedes in stead of an american.

  • dont buy a 4.6L its gonna be a head ache!

  • u said it was 2001 but the sticker said it was 1997

  • @kdizzle16fb that says 7997 its the price

  • Love the interior

  • 92000 for 8 grand?? your funny

  • This was my first car, i absolutely loved it and would do anything to have it again, its an incredible car, had a lot of standard feautures that most economy cars still dont have

  • oh jizz

  • It still looks good for a 10 year old vehicle

  • @misterjgl its a caddy it better still be looking good

  • LOL! You want $8,000 for this? You must be out of your fucking mind. I just bought a 2000 SLS in mint condition for $2,000. No wonder the economy's in such a shit hole... It's greedy bastards like you that caused it.

  • @peanutchopper This was posted a year ago, dumbass. How many miles does your car have on it? This is priced a little high but it's still a clean looking car. Plus you have an SLS; STS's usually carry a $500-$1500 premium depending on mileage and condition.

  • @cadillacseville00 Just a year ago the economy was worse than it is now! Your justification for this over-priced piece of crap is not relevant to today's world.

  • @peanutchopper Where? In what state? Did it have a lot of miles?

  • Reliability issues depends on the car, I had an '01 with oil use issues would have to add a quart every 500-700 miles. Crashed it, got an '03 and didnt have the oil issues. Great car, comfortable, good looking, and still get looks. Find me another 2003 car that gets as many looks as these.

  • I notice the Gauges don't sweep on Startup like the 2000 STS you did.

  • why does it say 1997 on it if its 2001?

  • @GodlessMartyr666 Lol i think thats the price of it :P

  • @SkootWilliams94 thats hella cheap for an '01 model then lol unless it was rolled or had a crazy accident, decent '01 can go for upward of $5000 U.S. depending on condition and miles on the car

  • @GodlessMartyr666 Lol i think its actually 7997

  • @SkootWilliams94 nevermind it looks exactly like the 7 on the end, I'm trippin balls

  • Those Northstars burn oil like crazy. Other wise great engines.

  • QUE TAL ESTE ES EL MAS PERRON NO?? NO ES ULTIMO MODELO PERO ES IGUALITO A EL MIO!!!

  • Where can this car be found?

  • I think i am in love.

  • Wow a vanity mirror light dimmer

  • the 1998-2004 Cadillac SeVille STS was assembled in

    Hamtramck, Michigan, United States

  • You can hear some bearing noise! Be Afraid!

  • it has 1997 on the windshield

  • @hu0189743 dunno why 97 would be on there.....but you can tell its not a 97,while the outside of a 97 is similar enough to the 01,the interior centerstack is diffrent, diffrent shifter, diffrent gauge cluster, and a diffrent 4 Spoke wheel design.

  • "very easy to turn, very loose"

is 'loose' a good thing? haha

  • lol i have an sts cadillac man...its nice talk about leather im abut to but window tenting in it and add sound system and some rimes add me if u want ill even show u a pic of my cadie with me standing behind it

  • ha i dont think we can here the bose stereo thru your handheld camera. lol doesnt work that way

  • Beautiful Cadillac! The interior and exterior are spotless and those Northstar's are beast. My mom owned one but it was all-black interior/exterior with gray ragtop. I have a question about the headlamps though. Are they custom for that years' model? I've seen a lot of '01 STS's but I don't remember the bright HID's in the center that the 3rd-gen Escalades have now.

  • @hcs4life21 All the 1998-03 STS/SLSs that I've seen have HIDs, I think they're great, but I also think it was only standard because Cadillac was trying to sell this car to people overseas. :)

  • my first car was a 98 red sts. it was a great car and i loved it!

  • Get a Bonneville GXP and have all of the same features without looking like grandma.

  • @saabkyle04 Good videos... Like always! What size rims are on that BEAUTIFUL Cadillac would you know??

  • nice car .what about gas mileage ?

  • classic

  • I want one of these so bad.

  • How come some cars have dual exhaust systems on them?

  • someone about 5 houses down from me has one of these in red and he keeps it C-L-E-A-N, even in winter is shining.

  • Do you happen tho know if the 1998 and the 2001 are similar? I'm looking into buying a 1998 for my first car.

  • @kewlskater They are basically the same except 98s you are guaranteed headgasket failure at some point, plus the front end shimmy. 2001 uses the newer coilpack ignition...also with the possibility of headgasket failure and front end vibration between 60-75 mph. I just bought a very cheap 2002 with low miles so I researched.

  • @TheMattstermind Thanks alot man. It really helps!

  • @TheMattstermind How's it been running? Love these cars, but was scared out of buying one.

  • @justinjonn Running perfect, but still only 30k on it!

  • I'll take one of these in black. =)

  • @Forgoten214 how about dark blue. i think ill get one in dark blue for my first car.

  • dude am 18 and i have a car 100% like these....these car dude drinks a hell alot of gasoline in town...but on the highway i safe alot...it has good sound system and it has good car engine sounds...the only problem with the car is that you have to drive it gently..dont drive it metal to the pedle...it will ruiend it..its a very soft car..but it can last you a good long time.. :)

  • Anyone else notice the engine knock or rattle sound coming from it? Doesn't sound very good :(

  • Only $1997, or is it a 97model. Still, great price for a '01 caddy. Nice vid!!

  • @Jon3800 7,997

  • @sths0609

oh right thanks, I wasn't looking at it properly.

  • Do the tan 3series in the behind the STS

  • i want of those

  • i wonder how many people go to brandon reeves because of your videos. its cool how you're able to do this though

  • very un-cadillac horn.

  • @gm1990ss I was thinking the same thing!

  • ah thanks so much ! this car is a tank

  • you should get one of the STSs distant G-body cousins, the Aurora or Riviera

  • these are nice cars, but damn, I've heard horror stories about the northstar v8 engines

they are monster engines, but have a lot of problems

    good review though

  • Thank you Kyle for this video. Very good show.

  • 05:36 #omg danish paradise hotel song

  • 1:15 that's what he said!

  • Yup had a 97 Deville Concours and yes the Northstar used oil 1st a quart every 2000 miles then later every 1000 miles! Dealership says its normal not excessive till every 700 miles till theyll do something bout it! Needless 2 say I dont own a GM car anymore and its no wonder they got in so much trouble!

  • Great video as always Kyle! I've always enjoyed those Cadillacs!

  • Wow that thing depreciated like a stone. (asking $7,997)

A dealer (who can provide financing, a warranty, ease of titleing, unlike a private party) is asking less than $8000 for a top of the line clean looking car that probably sold for between $35 and $40 thousand. Accords, Camrys, and Corollas of the same year that sold new for less than half of that with more mileage tend, when sold through dealerships have asking prices as much or more.

  • Considering what these cars cost brand new and what they cost used you know you're getting a hell of a deal with these.

  • It looks kinda like those older saab's from the back

  • PIMPS AND PENSIONERS BABY...love the video al always! wish i had one

  • ive been in this car before quite a few times

my onlycomplaint is it it sits kinda low and, this is gonan sound stupid but i hate the smell of that leather they used in it...LOL sad but thats me lol

i didnt know they made a white interior, thats awesome!

  • a single tone horn on a caddy? LOL! Sounds like an old pickup truck!

  • i like! A LOT!

  • Looks nice! I like how the rear end looks! Good Video! =]

  • haha my buddy has one of these and we were gonna replace his struts on it, when we went to go buy them, we found out that it was gonna run him around $4,000 for all 4, when we saw how much it was gonna be, we decided to never buy a Cadillac again, they are nice cars but the maintenance on them are way too expensive lol

  • @kmart7843 thats crazy! i agree, nice but too expensive!

  • nice car but I heard that they are horrible with relibility ratings.

  • @DanDFriend the northstar V8 was the problem, they were plagued with leaking oil because the v8s had so much torque, you must maintain it well, at least that's what I heard

  • @saabkyle04 my moms has the leaking oil problem you have to all ways watch the oil level. but you get minor problems in all gm cars lol.

  • @snaginlol haha just gotta watch out for that stuff I guess

  • @saabkyle04 actually kyle the problem wasnt the oil it was the head design and how they did not seat well with the gasket therefore causing head gasket failure thats where all the problems are and thats why they got a bad rap just a heads up cause i remember them doing the recalls years ago to fix the head gasket problem

  • @saabkyle04 That is true If your not on top of maintenance the Northstar engine will consume oil like crazy, blow head gaskets, overheated and will only last about 100,000 miles, before you have to spend $4,000 to rebuild the engine.

  • @abram7117 What things do you need to be on top of? I love these cars, and see a lot of them for sale around the 100, 000 mark> Any advice before I purchase?

  • @saabkyle04 have a cousin that brought a 97{cheap} with 122,000 on it, after about a month or so it started to smoke alot and used alot of oil it needed a expensive engine rebuild lucky it was before Cash for clunkers ended so he traded it in. Also my Aunt has one {03} and has had alot of issue shes getting tired of it and will likely get rid of it soon.

  • @saabkyle04 they leak oil, but are reliable IMO. I have one not a lick of trouble. Just dont let it over heat and watch the little belt on the water pump on the right side of the motor (back)

  • great video my mom has a 2000 its a good car.

  • @snaginlol thanks!

  • @snaginlol I find that hard 2 believe! Probably is a great performer but its whoppingly reliable?!

  • @rockerdriver Whoppingly reliable? So it is reliable? Do you own one?
