This is one of the most disturbing and upsetting films I have ever seen. It doesn't make the violence cool or sexy despite some of the young characters in it perhaps sometimes thinking it is. It shows the horror of war, and the horror of child soldiers, of innocence lost. The film stays with you leaving you depressed and outraged that human beings are still committing such inhumanities on each other and that so many stand by and allow such atrocities to occur. This film hurts and rightly so.

This is a GREAT film....i'd even say it's one of the best movies i've ever seen because it just seems so genuine you almost feel like you're along for the ride with the group of rebels. However, it is very disturbing and some ppl won't be able to handle it....it forces ppl to realize no matter how bad your life is there's always ppl out there livin 100000000000000000X worse than you. This film really makes you appreciate freedom and democracy.
