10 months old and already has hip dysplasia? You should NEVER breed this dog. And next you buy a dog you should make sure it is from healthy parents.

i'm very sad to say but that is full on hipdyslasia,poor thing, hard for a dog lover like myself to watch, but he has age on his side, please tell me he's inssurred, if hes not, you need to get him insurred, get down the vets and go through the motions of trying to get him to a standard where hes out of pain and mobile again, surgary is the only way for this dog, and he will recover. if you cant afford dog insurrance and you cant take him anywhere to be helped then you have to have him put down

@thehomefront No, it was not hip dyslplasia, it was the aftermath of surviving Distemper (most dogs do not survive it). Of the dogs that do survive it, the end result is a dog who cannot move correctly as it manifests in the brain.

The surviving distemper dogs can possibly live up to a full lifetime but will eventually die from what is called old dog encephalitis (swelling of the brain).

@thehomefront Ojhei was suddenly taken from us Oct. 19, 2010. He was only 2.5 years old. There is no cure for distemper- only a vaccine to prevent it, which the previous owner did not give him and this is how we got him from the Humane Society. He is very much missed by us and his little Doberman sister....

@thehomefront LOL u failed ...not dysplasia at alll....and even if it was dysplasia..theres many things to do before surgery to fix it
