  • I couldn't help laughing when they called Hales a 'Man of God'. I'm sure he was devout in his own way, but their rules are just horrendous. This family splitting really started when the Taylors began running Exclusive Brethren churches.

  • At least those who left can still speak to their family although in limited ways. Like the woman who brought her children to see their grandfather. He didn't ignore her and shun her like the JWs would and her mom also spoke gently to her daughter and grandchildren but didn't allow them in the house.
