  • It looks like it's designed to fool people int thinking it's a MacBook

  • So many Ports and yet no disk drive :( I was ready to buy this laptop until I noticed that!

  • She is hot

  • Tits Ahoy!!!

  • ITS A MACBOOK PRO WITH A HP LOGO!!!!

  • "I thought I saw a -Spectre- of defeat over your shoulder"

  • What?! $1400? seriously?!

  • Am I the only one who heard "HP boob" rather than "HP booth"?

  • @HalfLife205 nope you were not lol

  • @HalfLife205 HP Boob! LOL

  • I go for the orignial - Macbook Air - it's cheaper :-)

I never thought, I could say that Apple is cheaper than the rest :-))

  • My god, she's damn hot!!!!

  • I am wonder how much is her boob's battery life? )))))))

  • I don't get it. Why put an i5 in a netbook. The target market for these devices tend to be those who only need minimal computing power while mobile. Video, email, documents, web browsing, etc. People who need actual power need a graphics card, and as much of whatever else you can cram into the chassis (like videographers, photographers, some scientists), and this won't appeal to them.

Looks like HP made a device that won't appeal to either side.

  • Hp is retarded! copy copy copy.... just admit it! Macs and Apple is best

  • looks very pretty. But i just checked out the specs: Im not fussed tbh. No graphics card, which is probably sustaining the battery life. Nice processor though. Not sure what I would do with it that I dont already do with my laptop. Looks very pretty though. USB 3.0 is nice. Cant see it doing more than web and documents though tbh. Shame, waste of an i5 / i7.

  • I thought they were supposed to be priced under $1000 in order to qualify to be labeled as "Ultrabooks".

  • looks just like a macbook pro

  • How the hell did you get a Ford sponsorship? Aren't they like crazy right wing?!

  • It looks nice, but I don't think DVD drives are obsolete yet. I'll keep my classic laptop for now. The ports everywhere are a plus, and this seems like it'd be great for the non-old fuddys that insist on disc based media! (Yes, I just called myself a fuddy duddy.)

  • I was not aware that you were this attractive.

  • looks like a mac, steve they finally got it right

  • OMFG, it's like a macbook Pro's screen and a MacBook Air's body.... -_-

  • Thanks again Nixie! I am thinking of getting an Ultrabook.

  • who needs a CD drive on a ultrabook?

  • The Spectre looks pretty cool but HP electronics is still too resource hungry for my liking compared to a Samsung.

  • I'm not an apple fanboy, but this is a complete MacBook air ripoff. I liked the 2011 ces because tablets were a real "new" thing. Those ultrabooks are just a remake of a concept released by apple back in 2008 (4 years ago!!!).

  • @loperaja You're not a fanboy? *Achoo* I'm sorry, I'm allergic to bullshit.

  • LOL a slightly larger netbook for 1400? What a fkin joke. HP is a dive. Such a sh1t company.

  • Well...It kind of looks like a Mac because it is kind of like a Macbook Air. And by kind of I mean exactly the same. i7 processor, SSD, backlit keyboard, ultra thin design, and then a $1000+ price tag? Sorry Intel but Apple has been doing this months and months ago.

  • Spectre? More like Shadow...A Macbooks shadow.

  • show your tits !

  • nices tits

  • INSTALL GENTOO!

  • A HP computer? Looks like a clone of a MacBook Pro :|

  • @filippo333 it is. just like the Hp envy. HP copies apple is many many ways. Apple is the industry leader.

  • wait!!! It has windoze on it... Nixie why the hell u hold that in hands???

  • device is not worth it the only thing i liked about it is its battery but when you compare it with the transformer prime its seems like its overprice and everything

  • never again will i buy a hp. they always look good but they burn out.

  • @ccpkben well... I've had my pavilion for 4 years now and its still going strong, I'd buy one again

  • Great pasty skin !

  • what? how many USB ports does it have?

looks like it has 2x USB 3.0 and maybe one more on the other side, if you think that's going to replace your 3 USB-Hubs Nixie, sounds like you have 3 USB-Hubs too many.

  • That wasnt too informative... Be more nerdy! I love when you speak more comlicated! You did not said much! Please!!! Reayl! Anyway, liked the video ;)

  • $1399? For that price you can get a real macbook pro instead. Not trying to sound like a fanboy but it's way to overpriced for what you actually get.

  • <4lbs.....that is pure heaven!

  • Wasn't this supposed to compete with the Macbook Air in terms of thinness? If it was, they definitely failed with the price point.

  • Your skin is white like fine butter. Muaaaah.

  • I can't decide what looks better -- the computer or the girl.

  • @samplingrate OMG, answer is simple! Nixie!

  • @samplingrate OMG Dude... whats wrong with you man? How can you even hesitate to decide? It's not everyday you see something of such beauty, elegance, such sexiness... *sigh* just look at the keyboard..

  • @samplingrate

The girl. Well, at least that's my honest opinion. I'm an ex-HP owner =)

  • @samplingrate Nixie will always outshine everything! She's is stunning!

  • @samplingrate Sigh...unfortunately, I have no chance to get with EITHER.

Oh well. I guess I'll have to find something else to fit on my 13-inch chassis.

  • @samplingrate girl is ugly

  • @De22Lano No, *YOU'RE* ugly.

  • @samplingrate WHAHAHAHAHAA I KNEW SOMEONE WOULD COMMENT THAT EXACT COMMENT!!:P im so geniuss,..

  • HP Spectre Ultrabook is looking nice.

  • booshit. Computers gotta have specs

  • that is not an ultrabook is thinner than that and is not an ultrabook who are you kinding damn

  • @carlosmashiado2 Actually, you are mostly wrong. Intel classifies UltraBooks as being less than 0.8" thick, less than 3.1lbs and battery life of 5-8+ hours. The Spectre is 0.79" thick, has 9 hours of battery life, but does weigh 3.79 lbs. So the weight is over, but for all intents and purposes, its an UltraBook.

  • Fucking HP, market it as an ultrabook, even though it's far overpriced for be considered one (~1000 USD) and too heavy!

  • Looks like your clothes have arrived.

  • Coming from HP I'm sure it's "packed" with the latest bloatware. Not sure why system specks weren't mentioned.

  • for a second I thought this was the AVN awards

  • Ahhhhh

  • Wow. Can say only "wow". Although the design has it's influences from a MacBook though, but still.

  • The only laptop brands I buy are ASUS, SAMSUNG or Toshiba. SAMSUNG and ASUS are king. My last 3 laptops were Toshiba. I want an ASUS or a SAMSUNG but they cost a bit more, maybe my next one will be.

I'd never get a HP, no matter how good a deal or how good they make them look. They have more horror stories then any other brand, faulty parts, poor customer service. I only used a HP printer, and that was nothing but crap (I didn't buy it). Yes, I give HP credit for cool designs etc, but that's it

  • looks like a mac....

  • Tell me you did not get a HP laptop... Having Problems?

  • real estate, lol.

  • A LOT cheaper than the Macbook air and unlike the MacBook air which has only 2 usb ports and, well that's it, this has everything you need.

  • thought HP was getting out of the comp making market?

  • Looks like an interesting product, but honestly they're incredibly overpriced as they are now. But that's the way it works with new technology. What usually works is to just wait.

  • fuck that, no CD drive and $1399? shit, if it was like $499 or somethin it'd be worth it but $1399? I'll just buy a real laptop......not a slightly larger netbook....

  • @RevillutionDotCom

You have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @RevillutionDotCom optical drives are the floppy drives in this decade :-P

  • @Hagbard1988 Good point sir. :-p it does look cool though.......if i was in the market for a new laptop i may consider looking into this, plus it's not as if external optical drives are expensive :P

  • @RevillutionDotCom Who uses CD's anymore?!

  • @RevillutionDotCom or better yet build a Computer Thatll Smoke that laptop to the land of Jesus

  • @RevillutionDotCom You don't really need a CD drive as much now a days, if you have a program on a CD you can just rip the files and them on Daemon Tools. Also, by not including the CD drive, it frees up additional space for more important things... like a bigger heat-sink.

  • @Shinobi20000 ripping the CD with calculator you mean?

  • @RevillutionDotCom SSD alone costs 300$ or somethin. Im realy happy they didn't put cd drive in there, CD is rarely used in laptops nowadays and its definitely not something i would want to carry around with me. Real laptop ? i7, ssd, beats audio, hd webcam... what more do you want? Its super powerful laptop in notebook skin

  • @RevillutionDotCom in a while there won't be optical drives in laptops anymore and if you want one you will have to get an external, of course that won't be for a while but yeah, This is a full powered thin laptop minus the drive. When the HP Envy series was first launched they didn't have built in drives either, but they came with externals and they were full sized.

  • @RevillutionDotCom Why do you need a CD drive in 2012? Discs have become obsolete; anything that can be done with a disc can be done with a USB stick.

  • @RevillutionDotCom I don't use my CD drive now, so its fine for me.

  • lol nty, the only thing i use my laptop for is watching movies online and at times word doc.

Desktops ftw, but then again im only in HS so i have no real need for a laptop.

  • waste of money

  • I suddenly have the urge to buy myself a Ford Mustang but IDK why :S

  • Honestly it looks like crap. Granted it does have Solid state SSDs which I think is amazing for laptops. However, if you are going to be someone who relies heavily on laptops and Photoshopping then it might not be that bad. Of course my POV is me being a gamer and plus I'm not a big fan of Intel >:P.

  • looks cool except for the "beats audio" lol, what a joke

  • Yay! Thanks for recognizing the importance of resolution.

  • Ripping of good design of MAC. Shame on you hp.

  • @TheProfas huh...what the fuck is it copying from a mac? are you dumb or just a fanboy?

FYI there have been studies proving the most reliable laptops are from Asus and Toshiba... Macbooks aren't even the best.

  • Fuck Ford.

  • omg what happened Tor u nix?

  • And they said tablets were overpriced...

  • £13.99? $13.99? Huh?

  • @EmmyIiciouS Im guessing US..

  • @raaso no i meant like 13.99, as in "how can it possibly be 13.99 when i own a netbook which looks half as capable as this, yet was almost 200"

  • @EmmyIiciouS Oh, my bad!

  • It really looks like HP has a winner here.

  • You were paid to do this :(

  • @LinearPortal Youtubers have to earn a living somehow....

  • I thought HP was getting out of the consumer market?

  • @djsnakeyes I heard the same thing from several different sources. IDK if they backed off on it or it was a rumor all along.

  • its covered in Gorilla Glass 2 no less

  • Love the ultrabooks. So pricey though.

  • HP is back in a big way. 8HR run time rocks!

  • @jgemelli1 naaa, that's the "official" battery life, the real battery life is a little under 6 hours if no wifi on... otherwise your looking at around 5h

  • How is the fan noise level on those ultrabooks? I had Asus Eee PC netbook with amd e350 (18 Watts) and I found that annoyingly noisy.

  • @martinus666markus I have an ASUS Zenbook (ultrabook) and this thing has to be the most silent PC I've ever used. It barely gets warm to the touch and when the fan spins up, it's only a slight hum, not much louder.

  • Neat!

  • @legotech101 nat sins stiv jubs daid.

  • Sweet looking machine......

  • Great video. So jealous would love to be there

  • I need!

  • newer hp again!!!

  • Porkchop. Nice review. I want it now.

  • I need to save up...

  • Wow this on linux would be awesome !

  • the Specter looked nice until i heard the beats integration then the price point ....not for me i will stick to my sony vaio

  • @skylinmegas9290 Writing on my Sony Vaio now. Kicks ass. :)

  • @Octavice yea...great build quality (or just dumb luck) i dropped my vaio a few times and the only thing that damaged was the hard drive i just upgraded to a 500 gb hdd(before the Thailand flooding)

  • @nixie- im confused i thought HP had left the pc/laptop business.

that screen and the glass looks lush.

  • Soo its like a macbook air, that apple had in 2008 ?

  • @Pire666 A Mac Air but with functionality. IE MORE THAN ONE USB PORT

  • @nemesis950psi

Macbook Airs have two USB ports.

  • @MrBarneyDinosaur Oh, Im misinformed. How generous, there's two. I retract my previous statement.

  • I have to say it, your so hot.

  • @phimac10 wow ...
