Charlie Chrstian died in 1942, so this couldn't possibly be him on this track with "Diz" if it was recorded in 1945. Be wary of reissues like this when they headline the musician in the title, then add, "Guest Artists..."- this sounds like a "pig in a poke" package. Maybe one or two tracks featuring Charlie, and the rest are similar "jam sessions" from the saem era....
From memory, the lineup here is Dizzy, Bird, Palmieri, Al Haig, Slam Stewart, Sid Catlett. Recorded 1945 for Guild or Musicraft (can't recall which). Not recorded live at Minton's (or Milton's, even) & nothing to do with Charlie Xian.
@All
I know it's not playing Charlie Christian, but the music on this CD.
My intention was to put the whole CD, however, because of copyright were the only three that I could publish.
Regards.

Remo is right, but 12 bars, where do leave the other 22? (It's "Whispering" resp. Dizzy's famous paraphrase "Groovin High" on it.)

I hear the guitarist on this track isn't Charles but Remo Palmieri. Either way, it's an elegant 12 bars.
