Para esa edad Teresa Berganza ya habia dejado de cantar esta aria y otras de Rossini que la hicieron famosa. Agnes Baltza sorprende a cualquier público que la escuchó con 64 años de edad demuestra buen dominio vocal y gran gracia escenica. Admirable !

I saw her and Jose Carreas live in covent gardens singing Werther in 1987. They were wonderful.  She would have been about 44 years back then..wow!

Almost, but not quite. Anja Silja is still going at 68, and as far as I know, Gwyneth Jones is still performing in opera and she's like 71 or 72.

You go girl. These contralto roles are perfect for her voice at this stage, she can stay in the lower part of her voice which is in pretty good nick.
