couple things...

you haven't been using "Powersurge" for the Bills games.  the Bills games ALWAYS get "Powersurge". (the one you're using for Bears/Cowboys)

you need to be making up silly nicknames for the players and doing he...could...go...all...the...­way!

I know that Chiefs team won the Super Bowl but believe me that 97 team had Derrick Thomas, Andre Rison, and Neil Smith on the team. The Chiefs defense was sick in 97 but it's your highlights so you can put in whoever you want.

Mr. NFL, as a Chiefs fan, the Chiefs team that is on this game is not good. How come you didn't put the 03 Chiefs, the 95 or the 97 Chiefs on there? I mean I enjoy watching these highlights because they bring back memories but for the love of the god, please take the 69 Chiefs off, and put in one of the teams I suggested. I would really appreciate it.

They won the Super Bowl, they were the only Chief team other than the 66 team to make it. I know nothing at all is flashy, but they were the most successful of the group.

If that's the case, then why are the 2007 Patriots in there? Sure they went undefeated in the regular season, BUT they didn't win the Super Bowl.

Fair point. I had to determine which team I thought was the best, and while the 07 Pats lost the Super Bowl, there's no doubt how strong of a team they were. I certainly debated back and forth between them and the 04 team.

nice concept (nice name too...), however the 85 Bears would never lose to the 92 Cowboys. I'm curious what those stats are based on because there are no stats that will justify the 92 Cowboys defeating the 85 Bears. Not only that but the 92 Cowboys are 5-0 and the Bears are 2-3????? Please tell us what these numbers are about? I have a very similar video series, where I'm more than happy to answer anyone's football question!

Tecmo is a very luck based and offensive slanted game, and that's why the Cowboys were able to win. Because the Bears passing game was very mediocre, it often ends up being their downfall in games. Usually they'll throw bad INT's and it costs them.

Defensively, I haven't rated any team higher as a whole than the Bears, and Walter Payton is rated very high. I am pretty surprised that they are 2-3 though, as it doesn't make sense. I'm more surprised by the 05 Seahawks doing so well...

Continuing, it's a very unpredictable video game, and like in real football, "Anything can happen." Obviously if we could do it in reality, the Bears would be doing better, and they can still turn the season around.

Also, the 92 Cowboys were pretty freaking good too, while I believe the Bears were a better team, I think Dallas would make a best of 7 series very interesting.

Oh I applaud you with what you're doing. I did the same thing all the time with the Super Bowl teams on JOHN MADDEN. I did play tecmo bowl since the early days of 1987 and the Bears were the best team on that game then. I understand it's all based on luck, but what stats were entered in for the teams? You said defensively they're as good as anyone else, and Payton is high? Did you use the numbers straight from the 1985 season?
