  • all you did is steal this video from someone else and upload it in a shittier quality. cunt

  • if shane bond was more fit an played more cricket he could have definitely sur passed all the other fast bowlers......

  • He was surely an amazing bowler. Whenever there was a match between Pakistan and New Zealand. I was scared on his each and every ball that he bowls any batsman out! LOL.

  • Now tht's wht u call a Killer Yorker...Right on the money baby !

  • As an Aussie, bond was my fav bowler outside Australia, devo he's gone now

  • That swung a mile considering it was travelling at 140+ kph. Shame he's gone now.

  • Bond is truly an underrated player. He deserved way more attention and fame than what he got. Despite his rally of injuries he bowled so well with much better strike rate than almost all fast bowlers.

  • What an amazing delivery. 141 kph yorker that tails in to hit leg stump. Unplayable. the Black caps could sure do with a Shane Bond right now

  • bond combo of mcgrathian accuracy and akhtar's pace ,one of the greatest all time

  • Farewell legend, thanks for the memories..

  • Bond-Best.

  • The Black Caps could sure use him right about now

  • LMAO, hes in the side.

  • good bowl

  • 88mph

  • That is a toe breaker if ever i saw one lol

  • whats the speed of that in MPH??

  • 141 kph = 88.125 mph

    141/1.6 = 88.125

  • lol did you see the swing? its not all about pace dickhead

  • 141, is that it? Give it to Lee, Tait or Ahktar.

  • Lee, Tait or Ahktar... I'd like to see them bowl a yorker as good as that.

  • That comment was much more relevant a year ago when I posted it.

  • No it wasn't, they were power houses, bowling speeds over 150km.. Bond could bowl 140km+ and have great placement. It's not all about speed, if you think so then you know nothing about cricket...

  • And If you like Korn you know nothing about music...

  • That's different, we all have different tastes in music, whether it's pop, rap... but when it comes to bowling a cricket ball.

You are comparing bowling a ball to music

  • tait is going nowhere, shoaib is at best still intimidating (look at his first spell in the first ipl) if not accurate and before his hiatus lee was improved to the point of being better technically than bond. when he started out he just hurled the ball around erratically at 150+ and now he bowls slower balls with the seam up!

  • there is no point in comparing tait, lee, or aktar because quite simply - they don't compare to bond. sure, they all managed to bowl 5-15kmph more but bond has the better strike rates, better averages - and that's what counts.

  • hey, i dont. ive always said if tait can't sustain his 155s in the 4-over format he's in real trouble... & with shoaib i guess we disagree- regardless of how "good" he is, i just find him wonderful to watch as he rolls in; shoaib terrifies batsmen

my final point was that of the 3 you mentioned only lee has the potential to maybe- one day- be as good as bond technically & as quick

im an aussie, but as far as im concerned dale steyn is the future! i love pace... i love all cricket actually!

  • Oh no doubt, Dale Styen will be the leading Pace Wicket taker once his career is finished. But as far as I'm concerned, the 3 best pace bowlers ever are Hadlee, Bond and Lilee in terms of speed+consistantcy+endurance.

  • You are kidding right? No Mcgrath? MATE you are deluded, Bond shuodnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as these greats, one word...unproven.

  • Bond is a great in our country, he is recognized as our greatest bowler, along with Hadlee.

Unproven? Biggest load of rubbish ever, First off, Mitchell Johnson has played around the same amount of Tests as Bond and people are talking about him become a great! If Bond is unproven, than so is he.

And I totally forgot about McGrath sorry...

  • bro bond bowled 15 kmph slower and still broke down, his averages and stats reflect a short as test career, i think if you look at the likes of Lee and his career you will see that he is a much more sucessful bowler, even with less wickets available to take.

  • Lee is shit what the fuck are you on about. He was constantly over shadowed by McGrath and now he is being over shadowed by guys like Siddle and Johnson. The only thing Lee had going for him was his speed (150+), now he doesn't have that...

He is useless and you will see that in the ashes series coming up.

  • except that a guy like Lee has been able to add longevity. It's a shame with Bond because he's a great bowler, but for me, it's the opposite, you can't compare them because Bond simply hasn't played enough tests.

  • lol, longevity makes you a better bowler then does it? so chris martin is better than shane bond.

ffs, it feels like i'm trying to explain what the color blue looks like to a fucking blind man. SHANE BOND IS BETTER THAN BRETT LEE. get it through your thick head you dumb australian.

  • Lol. Oh, here we go. Firstly, I'm a huge fan of Bond, and of NZ cricket in general. Secondly, I didn'y say longevity makes you a better bowler, you idiot - you have to perform at top class for that entire time. If Bond had a full and uninterrupted career, I'm sure we would be comparing him with Hadlee for NZ's best all-time paceman. Bond has a better strike rate, and a better average - but he's also only played 17 tests for 79 wickets, as opposed to Lee's 79 tests for 310 wickets.

  • What does it matter though, what are you trying to say?

Your rambling crap that doesn't matter, what i'm saying is Bond is better than Lee.

    Just stfu you dumbfuck.

  • Lol! Thanks for proving to me (and everyone else) just what a stupid fucking idiot you are. No point having a logical conversation, eh? What are you, 14? I'll just let you keep pulling the wool over your own eyes.

  • A logical conversation about what? It was going nowhere at all. I'm saying Bond is better. You're rambling on about longevity. 2 totally different subjects. Ergo - just stfu you dumbfuck.

  • Has Bond had continuous stints in the subcontinent? No. Has his performance and average levelled out the past few years, after the blistering start he made? Yes. Mate, don't argue about cricket if you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Keep calling me dumbfuck all you like, I'm enjoying reading these comments.

  • Oh my fucking god. You are the biggest retard I know.

First off, do you know how hard it is for a bowler to gather confidence after continually acquiring injuries and being in and out of the side?

Second, Lee hasn't even got a ten wicket haul yet, how fucking shit is that.

Third, Bond is in a class of his own. I'm done with you. YA DUMBFUCK.

  • :) Are you forgetting that's exactly what happened to Lee too? Oh, but being a fucking clueless one-eyed supporter means you don't take anything else into consideration. Or back up your statements with anything to actually do with cricket. Well, keep sticking your head in the sand, I'm done with this argument too.

  • Well, i'm a New Zealander, and I can honestly say that right now Lee is better than Bond, Bond was much better a couple of years ago.

  • this delivery is the cricket equivalent of having your pants pulled down in front of your in laws

  • @Exalt4KoRn career record also do matters, unfortunately bond has too short career when its compared with akhter and lee which also counts. ;)

    er

akhter is the best thing happened to fast bowling ever
