Yeah, that has been a big complaint with the flatbed by many ppl. It is about 70cm but it looks a little too short for some reason. The tanker trailer, made by Tamiya, is scaled a little bit better. I like flatbeds more than tankers though, so I went with the flatbed.
On this truck I am using the Futaba 4VWD. Unfortunately they stopped making that transmitter about a year ago. The Futaba 4EXA is a great radio that they currently make that can be used for the same purpose. I use it on my Tamiya Tundra.
They are the best hobby aint they yamata86 also the most expensive that i have come across so far. I've got the Scania R620 6x4 3 trailers and looking at more lol
thats so sweet im saving up for the tundra and add the mfc-01 and stuff i already have a trailer built to be pulled with mini die cast snowmobiles on it
I picked this one up from towerhobbies. Horizonhobby also carries them, and I believe both shops will ship outside the US. The Scania truck kit does not include the lights/sound kit. That is an upgrade from Tamiya.
The Scania kit is Tamiya kit 56318.
The light/sound kit is called the MFC-01 it is 56511.
Thanks for the compliment Pitpointer. I watched a bunch of your videos and they are great. You have quite an amazing stable of RC trucks. Really impressive.
Actually jakeyfletcher, Tamiya is going to offer the Scania 620 as a fully completed package very soon. Mine is the Scania 470, and it is a little bit smaller than the 620. If you go to the Tamiyausa website and search on Scania 620 you can find the details there.
for sayin the trailers are 70 cm + long they look rely small on videos
