Avedis, A customs, K's, K customs, Z customs(Z3) those are the top lines of zildjian...

those are made from the same bronze alloy & computer hammered, so there are no better or worse between those lines, those are only differents

Do Avedis cymbals sound good, anyone, because I'm thinking of buying some, but for the price I don't want to unless I KNOW they sound decent. Thanks!

well i just bought an Avedis 16" crash for $180.

Got an A custom 18" crash also but for $230.

go to the store and play them. cuz within avedis theres size and thickness to consider. i have a 14 inh avedis that souns like crap. played a 16 the other day that was orgasmic. personally i like larger and thinner cymbals. check the hybrid k series if youve got the cash. dont forget cragslist either.

i cant say i agree on that. zildjian does offer some midline cymbal. the Z line is great, especially for the prices on some of the cymbal. zht isnt so bad either

i have zht hi hats and they really sound more like lower line hats also i dont think that z custom line is mid level a pair of hats is 329 and a ride is is like 300 also

Every cymbal company's top quality cymbals run about the same price. Seriously. I hate how everybody is always like, "Don't get zildjian, because they are too expensive". Well ya know what? Paiste 2002 and signature cymbals are WAY more costly than zildjian's A cusoms... And pst 5s are not mid-line cymbals. b8 pros aren't really either. Mid-line for paiste is Alpha, mid-line for sabian is XS20...

Zildjian cymbals are hand crafted my dear friend, therefore will sound amazing and theyre cash value is worth it eventually.

Sabian B8 are THE WORST cymbals immaginable. maybe after the 302 Paiste. if you want a good sound, i recommend Zildjian. K, A, ZXT

to get rid of trapped air you should just buy a set of a zildjian 13" Quick Beat Hats .... They have four holes in the bottom for faster air release .... i bought a set a few months back nd theyre great ... brilliant for sudden choking

those hats sounds great even in here, but k custom sound really great, i played with them in a studio where i recorded a song and they had k custom cymbals and theyre all great, they sound great for ballads

Well, you need to invest in some new hi hats! May I recommend the Zildjian K 14" Mastersound Hats! A bit pricey, but you get out what you put in! =]
