The reason they hold the ball and use so many tricks is because of the small playing field. In order to create space and passing/ scoring opportunities they need great skills and tricks to beat their opponent.

This video had way too little passing in it. Futsal is much more about exploiting space with the use of four outfield players applying on and off the ball runs, and much less about one-on-one tricks.

2) all of the defenders apart from the first one are pretty good
3) only in like one clip do they actually lose the ball
4) it doesn't show any of the people doing the tricks defending so you don't have any basis to say that they 'need to learn how to defend. Also, only in one clip does the player flick the ball over the defender's head and lose it, and he was clearly showboating.

It's just that I've seen REAL freestylers at real competitions and these 'freestylers' would get 'schooled' by them because the freestylers I know are as or more trickful than ronaldo and play better defence than these idiots

@OliG312 there are REAL competetive freestyling competitons in the world where they just freestyle, no defenders, no goals!
Freestyling is when you cam use any part of your body to amaze someone.
So your saying they just got some random defenders to perform on? This is a match, not a free for all. Try and get some logic before you reply

1) this isn't freestyling
2) the defenders are shit
3) coinsedence they don't show them getting the ball back
4) these 'freestylers' need to learn how to defend and stop flicking the ball over someones head then losing it

@FlyerBoyJed 1) depends what you describe as freestyling
2) all of the defenders apart from the first one are pretty good
3) only in like one clip do they actually lose the ball
4) it doesn't show any of the people doing the tricks defending so you don't have any basis to say that they 'need to learn how to defend. Also, only in one clip does the player flick the ball over the defender's head and lose it, and he was clearly showboating.
