Hey man. Keep up the good work. I was try to think about how to make one of these with an easy way to combine storage of cloth and function. You beat me to it! Thanks for idea.
Smart guy has too many ways to answer the one question because he is so smart he can break it down totoo many ways... Stupid guys questions but never understand the explanations regarding to his questions which he raised.... LMAO!
if i were you i'll just bring just a lighter. Ru guys will be camping that long? like i used to do for 5 years streight? then the gadget you guys are talking about....Nah! is it clear? Genius... LMAO!!
@maxinpains Dude, you probably get lost in your own house. Judging from your spelling acumen you got lost on the way to school too. Fire pistons have been around and in constant use for generation upon generation. So define for us, Genius, how it is a fire piston in use is not knowing how to "REALLY" ignite a fire?
How do you explain all the videos on here with people lighting fires?
I guess all that burny flamy stuff in their vids didn't really happen.
@maxinpains its better to KNOW, but its also better not to waste your time trying to use primitive methods when your in the lost woods. you should be carrying a survival kit with you anyway so you shouldnt have much to worry about.
maxinpains, you are completely wrong. fire pistons are incredibly reliable if constructed properly, and this kid seems to have done his homework. the use of fire pistons has been documented for at least 200 years.
@maxinpains true it is better to know multiple ways to start fire so you are prepared, how ever I would say fire pistons are more reliable than most other commercially available fire starters. You do make a good point though!!
@jwilson004athotmail thanks. i know the guy who had a survival knive & allways proud & swinging around... when time has come in the forrest...he had lost one in worst time.... i just don't want anyone to have simmiler experiences. such as ...loosing fire piston.. the last strong hold....LMAO!
huh?

fire pistons are't reliable. it's better to know various ways to make a fire for in a case you don't have fire piston itself. \
good luck.
