Jeremy, when are you getting to remote control of arduino? - i think your tutorials are great.. now, if only you could control an arduino(s) with a remote, you could make some cheap automated window blinds or other cool stuff.
@djtowo Might be easy, but i have no experience.. I'm not an electronics guy. I just watch these vids to get ideas for projects. What i don't know is how to display/obtain the RC5 codes from a remote i want to use and if i need an arduino + xbee shield per window or if there is something more clever if i want to automate all windowblinds in my house.
Ever think about doing an epsoid on whriting a program to display your arduino data on the computer?

@SparkyDvip I've already done that in several of my arduino tutorials, as well as other projects that I've put on youtube and my blog.

Jeremy why you no used Linux?
at less in your tutorials you're always using Windows
I mean, it's ok, but I just ask about

@Luzbeloco I use linux for development sometimes as well. But I need windows to edit the videos together, so I use it for the project videos.

@Anima87 If it were me, I'd put your arduino on your ethernet network, and control it with an iphone, or android app or webapp.
sciguy14 7 months ago
@sciguy14 That would be cool, but i don't know how to make an app or webapp.. but it would be nice if i could use both an app and a universal remote.
How difficult would this be as a project?
Anima87 7 months ago
@Anima87 Shouldn't be too hard.. there are lots of materials online
