That means 4 Dustias in 1 minute

12480:4=3120 minutes.

12480:60=52 hours + Rabanstre runs 4 phoenix downs - around 58-60 hours.

That's It.With Emb. Tippet It's around 30 hours.

I must test if this also work on the PAL version.

If so, then it means that's much easier to do, since all PAL games are about 20% slower then the NTSC counterparts.

I'm currently at the part right before Penelo joins you, but it's going slow. Oh, and do you know if Phoenix Downs also work on that dark skeleton? As in, one shot?

@Xylarxcode yeah,you can buy with her or when she leave pty ;) i did dustia with her..she attack vaan to HP critical and than i kill her :P and i was doing dustia until lv 45 ;) damn anoying..but later you kill bosses or any enemy very easy :) i think not..ill try on them and replay here if you can...but i think you can only use phoenix on dustia ;) i am trying now to get Seitengrate Bow..around 10 h and still nothing..haha

@Pafka0 he doesnt appear again probably because you see the exp and LP pop up before you get the drops and leave the zone. I personally dont get the drops, since i have 800k gil, i just need the exp. just do what he does, stand right infront of the little dots and wait for his hp bar to show and use a phoenix down, then as soon as it dies RUN before it says "1101 exp 2 LP"

@redfoxarts Well I'm not kaddy but I can say that if you're in golmore, go to the southernmost zone (before the feywood) kill every monster in that zone and skeletons will begin to spawn. Kill them with phoenix downs until they are all gone and the grave lord will appear. try to steal from him before you phoenix him. After you kill him, enter the feywood then zone back in and more skeles will spawn. When you've wiped them all out, zone away 2 areas then come back and do it all over again.

What a moron! l totally forgot that you had to put the battle speed on SLOW, so that you can kill it easily. Since i forgot and had it on FAST, l didn't have time to kill it right there because he would use dark before i even used the phoenix down. What i did was make it appear, zone out, then zone again and now this would give me time. There i was zoningin and out to kill him. l did it like this with vaan all the time! Now that im at lv44 and just want some quick LP, i see this vid. Damn!

Does Dustia come only when there's a sandstorm? He didn't appear for me, either because my HP wasn't low enough or the weather was fabulous in the Westersand. (Someone answer ASAP)

lol i attempted this a lot of times and everytime the loot heals me, i have to hit myself again and most of the time i end up killing myself and have to start over. Usually by tripple hitting or double hitting myself and i use the western merchant so if i die i wasted 1 hour of work D:

@HaishaKafuren Cause Dustia is a Rare monster. And rare monsters require a certain task to be completed while in a certain area. And in Dustia's case, your health needs to be less than 10% and you have to be in the Corridor of Sand.

if you do it in the easy mode (wait, low battle speed), you actually cant just use the phoenix down right away

a moment after Dustia starts casting, you'll see a red status bar show up - thats your cue

Did a nice chain in the Lhusu mines got up it up to 523 then got tired O.o went from lvl 20 to lvl 25 was good EXP farming not as fast as this technique but I am not one to do a technique like this but I guess if people like doing it this way then that's them =)

I did this 3 weeks straight when I was in highschool like 6 hours per day and all my characters after 3 weeks of no life is level 99 so start a game with all my chara level 99 plus when more people join your party they will aim the higher level on your party so for example larsa or reddas join you, they will LV 99. I make separate saves for it so I could always start LV99

@TheDivineKiller97 Chances are that you weren't fast enough. If you saw Dustia's EXP/AP displayed, that won't work. You have to be faster, like that mentioned in the vid.

1) Go to config (press options ingame) and lower battle speed to minmimum and the battle to 'wait'

2) enter the line and then when dustia appears drop a phoenix on him. IMMEDIATELY AFTER UR HERO DROPS THE DOWN PRESS X AGAIN. This will pause the action giving u infinite time. See if Dustia has dropped anything (if he hasnt dropped anything he WONT) Press O and IMMEDIATELY Run Back

3) Very Easy Chaining Method...Enjoy.

I used a pheonix down gambit just today and it worked for me.

First Slot I had

Foe: any -- Phoenix Down

(If it matters, I used it on a blank gambit, equipped pheonix down first, and then the foe:any.....I don't see why it would though.)

in higher chains you might not see dustia anymore, cause: you got healed by the loot to above 10%

Also try to wait a bit when the loot drops, when it jumps towards you, go and get it

i for one, think that this is, in a way, cheating. not really, but just play the game where you level up by killin wolfs and doing the story. not finding a way to insta kill a monster that gives crapload exp. its a really good way to level, just not for me. im level like.. 18 and im sooooo much farther than that. so it proves how easy the game is gonna be for the ppl that do that method..

@kitonman Step back a little bit as soon as you see dustia as a target use a phenox down and you should be able to kill him. My advice is don't take the loot because he might not respawn if you take the loot the wrong way.

The battle system is usually referred to as ADB, not ATP. ADP = Active dimension battle.

I'm sure he knows this but it wasn't stated so I'll say it. When you add a new character their base level is based on your current level. So this is done at the very beginning of the game to get the best levels for all the characters later. Also, keep a couple of those flame staffs. They are going to be the best weapons you can get for a few chapters and come in handy for quite awhile.
