In Kanto you have to tame a powerful genetic experiment, in Johto you must call upon the long forgotten sacred beasts, in Hoenn you must stop the raging leviathans to ensure the region doesn't waste away, in Sinnoh you have to enter another dimension and stop it from merging with the real world, and finally, in Isshu you have to travel to the world of dreams.

Is it me or Pokemon's storylines just keep getting more and more intense?

Can't wait until B&W and THEN the third one so that we can see what's the full story behind Kyurem, that Dragon/Ice Pokemon, especially since two Ice-type versions of Sky Attack have been found in the games' coding. Ones physical and the other special. The first one paralyzes and the second burns.

@kztar621 Let me change that a little: In kanto you have to tame 3 titan birds, in johto you have to chalenge the beast of the sea and guardian of rainbows, you got the hoenn one right, in Sinnoh you have to stop time, space and distortions from going out of control, and in Unova you have to stop the Yin-Yang beasts from being controlled :)

@Diana4281 1.- When I wrote that, B/W weren't out yet, and the emphasis on the "dreams" they made in the campaign made me think so. The rest you just changed the words but stated the same, and I mentioned Mewtwo instead of the birds because the birds don't do a thing, but Mewtwo is known for it's vicious nature.

Still more back story to Mewtwo than the birds. So really, as according to all of the burned Cinnabar Lab info, Mewtwo is a bit more influential.  Not as much is given on the birds in comparison.

There are multiple things telling about mewtwo when there is only one person that says something about the 3 birds but that doesn't make mewtwo more important. The 3 legendary birds have an affect on the whole kanto region's weather and land creation while mewtwo is nothing but a simple clone created by a human that is believed to be the strongest pokemon ever(which hasn't been proven yet). if T.R. never decided to create mewtwo he wouldn't

The birds do have some weather control (springtime created by Moltres, thunderstorms with Zapdos) but maybe we are kind of on parallel ideas....I was thinking in terms of game, you were thinking in terms of the story/actualities of the region, in which your statements are quite right. In terms of the game, the birds are kind of sparse in history, barring that of the Articuno sighting in the periscope in one of the Route checkpoints. So really, we are both right.
