you can just play the melody that is written on the piano score. the violin and the piano is the same key.

You may only think that kids are interested in stuff like porn and violence because most are. But, there are those rare occasions where a kid grew up around music and are very interested in it. Rare occasions like me and @locketblue. So please, don't think that some kids aren't interested in music, because some actually are.

@StrawberryCat3000 To be very brief, I will cover just the notes in first position.

The lowest string is the G string. Placing your 1st finger gives A, 2nd is B, and 3 fingers is C.

The next string is D. Placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gives you E, F and G, respectively.

The A string follows that, and placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, gives the pitches B, C, and D

And finally the E string is the highest. Placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd produces F, G, and A.

A more extensive explanation should be pursued though.
