  • beautiful car nice video (Y)

  • u should of seen how i drive my jag

  • i hav an x type the steering wheel is different tho

  • Im thinking about buying one of these. $5500 w/ 125k on it. Do these cars drive good in winters and are reliable? Thanks

  • When Ford took over Jaguar they realised the company had huge potential. Jaguar's name stands for a lot and people would expect typical Jaguar customs when buying a Jag from any era. Ford put a lot of money into Jaguar and since then they took off into the future. Jaguar is now owned by India's Tata, but not many people realise this and Tata have done virtually nothing for the company as Jaguar and Landrover have done very very well in recent years. I can see them backing out of Tata quite soon

  • I have exactly the same ! Love it !

  • Why everyone think that Jag is shit?! It's good car (i think) 'casue I didnt get one yet but I want to buy one, and FORD made them better (price and quality) it's not shitty car like mondeo

  • Yaguar is shit. No quality! If you buy a good Volkswagen, you get more for the money. Why do you like this Indian car so much? They sold all theyr tradition

  • @frigg181 unfortunatly, Volkswagen or other german brands are lacking "soul", and that's just what Jag lovers are going for..

  • With jaguar's poor resale value you might as well get an S type or XJ8.

    Those are amazing cars.

  • I can't tell if that's foggy mist at the end of the video for dramatic effect or if the engine has gone tits up and has just caught fire :)

  • I love this video and the equilizer bit at the end;-))) Bought a 3.0v6 awd a month ago and love it! and now the snow is here omg! it's the best car I have ever owned! it goes anywhere on ice!!! totally confident with it, great cars!

  • To all you haters: I would have agreed with you back in the day. that it's just a ford with a badge swap but, after owning one, you all have no Idea what your missing! This is by far the best and funnest car I have owned. I also have a Mercedes and have had a BMW, Inifiniti before this car and this car wins hands down. its so fast, responsive smooth and a delight to drive. the car is heavy duty which I absolutely love. So basically don't knock it until you've had the pleasure of driving one!

  • @stcbenz83 So right I just can't part with mine!..2.5l Exec Platinum grey/stone

  • @mitkohazard Negative, sir. Old jags are notorious for having craptacular build quality. Ford made them better.

  • @lowcostvideos I'm thinking of buying this car for my second car, my first one, a VW passat has too many problems right now and too expensive to replace, but this Jag, a 03' costs $3500 with 160,000 KMs on it. My question is: Is it a good car? Overall, how many problems did you incounter, do you enjoy the car? Jags have been on my wall since I was a kid, I love them, and I always wanted one, and having one when I'm young is an honour, thanks.

  • @MadDogMeh It's a reliable car. It definitely needs premium - the injectors have gotten foulded a couple of times but otherwise no real problems. But $3500 seems low, there must be something wrong with it (?)

  • @lowcostvideos Yes, it has been in an accident, but I decided to get a Suzuki SV650 Sports Touring motorcycle instead. :)

  • @MadDogMeh dont read negative comments about them, i did and put me off for a year, but got offered a 3.0 petrol t reg, that was the most neglected un loved car i had ever seen, never polished, oil low on everything, no mot and had been stood under a tree for 6 months, fuul of sap. i paid £600. put meths all over and the sap fell off. t cutted a mettalic car, now the british racing green shines through. straight through an mot. now looks like a new car. ford engine thank god is rapid, manual.

  • @frigg181 First of all, Top Gear loves the Mondeo. Case closed. Second of all you should really sit in a car, or even see it before making that kind of judgement.

  • @frigg181

Yeah i wish was british so it would be shitty and expensive. Crap product for a high price..that's the stuff..

  • @frigg181 either way, the Mondeo is a fantastic car. and barely any of it is shared with the Jag

  • @frigg181 ok big boy... what Jaguar are you driving? ;o)

  • @frigg181 @mitkohazard - I own a 2002 X-Type 3.0 V6 Sport and a 1998 XJ 3.2 V8, which was actually made by Jaguar. And compared to the old 1992 XJ 3.6 and 4.0 V6 cars I used to own, the X-Type is actually better! It may have been made by Ford (and now Tata), but everything still screams Jaguar from the comfort of the ride to the noise of the engine. They still have that "WOW it's a Jag!" factor. Anyone who says otherwise is jealous or has never owned/driven one. Like if you agree!

  • @frigg181 Its funny because your from Swden. And their car industry has gone to the wall. Volvo to China and Sabb to Holland :/ Sad, because i Like Saabs, but true. So us Brits must be doing something right with JLR !

  • hammer karre

  • TEE HEE I have a silver X-Type and I heard the beginning and Im like, YEP TAHTS AN X-TYPE

  • y have 1 more option, alpine sound system :p

  • Good job! beautiful!

  • dont have the leaping jag on bonnet, its a theif magnate, a jags a jag even without the ornamental flying jag.

    get one now....

  • Stupid question maybe... but does the jaguar on the hood often "dissapear"? I want this car, but I would be so mad if someone stole that little jaguar. Just like ppl do at mercs :/

  • I've never had a jag or mercedes hood ornament stolen. Just be careful where you park.

  • True words. Parking at safe places is important.

Wich X type have the ornament? Im lookin at many adds here in sweden, X type 3.0 year modell 2001-03. They dont have the ornament. You know wich model I should look for?

  • Well here they all have the ornament, but european models may not since I think is illegal in some countries.

  • yah, be careful where you park, and if possible, take it off when it is even a little questionable. I have not had mine stolen *knock on wood* but I do remove it when I dont feel super safe

  • @s54bmw How easy is it to remove the Leaper ornament?

  • @ThousanWhite its not too hard, but you have to have the right size socket to fit around it. You cannot do it with your hands, unless it's not too tight, but usually they are. I do not know the size of it, but if you look under the hood, you can see the plastic bolt holding it down.

  • GREAT VIDEO i like the best x-type's they have a classic look with wonderfull preformance!!

  • Yeaaa Nice job mate, Great Video Editing Simpel but Very nice Movie !

  • very nice and beautiful car and nice sound of engine, bravo jaguar luv it .
