  • What exactly does the side panel on the left side do?

  • .....does any body realize that with some re-engineering and testing these guys could easily pop a .50 bmg air rifle with a baffle that would take a virtual stick of dynamite explosion to a a meer hand clap and even reduced more with a suppressor of sorts, that kinda technology could save alot of sniper teams lives....

  • its a cool ass air rifle but i dont trust electronics in air rifles is the psi adjustable by hand

  • Turn on closed captioning.

You may not be able to hear him, but you'll laugh.

  • What's the difference between a air rifle and a real rifle?

  • @TheRebelEye are you serious? air rifle uses pressurized air to propel the "bullet" a "real gun" as you call it uses the explosive power of burnt gun powder to propel the bullet.

  • next time you want too explain the working's of a rifle do it some where abit quiter,so folk might hear what it is your tryng too say

  • What a great idea.

  • Will you stop talking and shoot already?! 7 minutes into the video and 1 dam shot! guns are for shooting not petting.

  • What is an acurate distance for that gun with that bullet?

  • @eox555 As far as you can shoot it accurately up to it's dead range of 1 mile! My .22LR is accurate at 20 yards but I shoot it accurately at 430.

  • why oh why didn't Crossman put a picatinny rail on top????

  • It's deadly silence! Loved it!

  • great gun; totally crappy video

  • i want this 1000 is too steep for me

  • Or you could just use a real gun and save the animal lots of pain and save your self some money.

  • @EmergencyPineapple a 357 is a 357 bro. and at 8-950 fps,they'e gonna drop whatever they're aimed at.

  • @dbbigdaddy You are telling me this is going to cause the animal the same or less amount of pain than that of a regular gun. Yeah a baseball bat will "drop" whatever it's aimed at to, but it's unneeded pain. And there is no advantage on price. Almost no reason to own one unless you are a collector or target shooter.

  • @EmergencyPineapple Yes,I am telling you that it will cause the same exceptionally short lived amount of pain. .357 cal ammo is the same size wether it's fired from a traditional firearm or another delivery system. And as it goes out the other side,it will leave the same size hole. There are advantages to,it's alot quiter than a traditional firearm for one,so perhaps you can get that much needed second feral species kill.

  • @dbbigdaddy But the thing is the way you are using would be great... amazing, but using it for sport would be unfair if you miss you can just take another shot... that's why cross bows are illegal to hunt with in some states because the animal has no chance... were as if you miss with a gun the chances of you making the shot after that are slim to none.

  • @EmergencyPineapple but you have to reload a crossbow after every shot, which is even harder to do than racking another round in a rifle(air or otherwise). every hunter has made a bad shot before and needed to have another round/arrow/whatever available to put the animal down so it doesn't suffer. i just had one yesterday as a matter of fact with a rabbit. damn fly flew in my nose just as i squeezed one off and i hit him under the eye. had to rack one and put him down. it sucks but it happens.

  • @dbbigdaddy That sounds like an awesome hunt... how did you manage to hit him in the head yet not kill him?

  • @EmergencyPineapple went in under his right eye and out the left side of his jaw. he was hurt really bad and fortunately after his initial flip, was in pretty bad shock just rocking side to side and making a horrible noise. i racked one quickly ,got closer(like 10 feet) and put him down. NOT an awesome hunt. i hate getting bad shots like that.

  • @EmergencyPineapple Sorry. Generally when using a small caliber the bullet bounces in the skull. I just assumed you were kidding.

  • @EmergencyPineapple: That's the stupidest thing I ever heard. You think crossbows aren't permitted for hunting because they're faster? Think about it: With a bow you take the arrow, knock it, draw, release. With a crossbow you point the thing at the ground, pull the string back, lock it, put the arrow on the rail, aim, fire.

I suppose it's crazy to think that the actual reason is that it's unsafe to walk around with an arrow in a ready-to-fire position.

  • Why did they film this in the middle of an Iraqi battle field???

  • Comment removed

  • this one is bigger than .45??

  • @aztecacontinental no,45 is bigger. .357 is the same caliber as 9mm but longer/more grain weight.

  • I love this gun!

  • Legal in UK?

  • BTW can you tell those people shooting in the background to stop preventing someone trying to tell us the prophecy about the future?

  • Guns carrying computer chips will probably become a norm in airguns and firearms one day !! ;0

I still feel a bit unconventional about this. But hey it's progress. Can't stop it.

  • @177or22 I Hate to say it but english company daystate beat crossman to it...

  • @1willd1 The MK4 .... ;o)

  • Respond to this video... though the English models are much weaker....

  • @177or22 True... thats cos in the UK any weapon that generates over 12ft pounds of force (16 jules i think) requires a firearms certificate, even then Daystate sell their firearm level air rifles at 40 ft pounds max. They can be tuned up to about 100 i think.

  • @1willd1 actually i read on pyramidair that it can shoot 250 ft pounds

  • made of pure awesome sauce!

    air rifle army unite!

  • WANT.

  • looks cheep idk but seems cool i dont like the whole choose the power thing

  • Essentially: it's an airgun with the power of a standard-pressure .38 special handgun.

  • how much will this cost?

  • for all worried about the mayhem that could ensue .... remember that given this expense "punks" aren't going to have these. Permit holders, full auto holders, silencer holders (those who spend money to stay legal) have proven to be a VERY responsible group with EXTREMELY low crime rate (lower than law enforcement).

Assassins will continue with full power firearms with silencers ... they don't care about the law anyways.

  • What sets this apart from firearms? .. i.e. why not buy a firearm?

    Naturally quiet.

Won't need BATF paperwork to attach a suppressor if you want it even more quiet.

No registration on an airgun, no background check, etc

Airguns have MUCH fewer restrictions on shooting than firearms. Backyard squirrels, basement firing ranges, in town shooting, etc.

Going forward, full auto is possible to own for civilians (currently lots of hurdles there).

New tech is expensive, but it's gonna get better

  • i'd like to see this compete against my FX REVOLUTION

  • Most annoying video evarrrrr! Couldn't you guys film this in a backyard. Couldn't hear a damn thing!!!

  • Useless! I can't hear most of what you're saying over the noise from the guns firing in the background!

  • what do people use this for im not being a smart at all like i use a 22 250 for varmits why do people buy this big things

  • @Americanstrong5

    For fun

  • the MSRP is 1500 on the crossman website

  • How much is this beast??

  • you may as well just buy an actual fullbore.

  • Hi Please tell me how many shots will it get on the lowest power? some say 20 shots and if this is true than you can count on me getting one.

  • any estimated price yet?

  • @fox10169 $4699.99

  • @EvilRedGoose That is approximately, $3699.99 more than I have currently >_>

  • @PoketheHyena lol i was just joking, i believe its 350

  • @EvilRedGoose Oh ok XD

I was about to Google that up actually.

  • @PoketheHyena ohai there poke. Cap'n here :D

  • @Nighthawk391 Lawl XD

  • drop the bullets into the "clip" lol

  • can i own this in the uk?

  • where can i buy this?

  • how much?

  • Cool rifle. Will this be legal for ex-felons to own?

  • @troyez Yes it is legal to posses and fire by a felon.Felons cannot own, posses or be in constructive possession of a firearm.A firearm is classified by the "BATF" as an item which uses an explosive propellant to propel a projectile. This rifle uses "High pressure air" as the means to propel the projectile so it is perfectly legal to posses and fire by a "FELON".

  • @edgarfromthebronx But, if you look at the price tag on this thing, it's 1,500 bucks. What felon would be able to buy this?

  • @shdowhunt60 If you are a felon and really wish to hunt than you have a few options

    1)Use an Air rifle

2)Use a crossbow or Bow and Arrow

3)Use an antique firearm (which is classified as a firearm that uses a mechanism such as flintlock, percussion).

All the methods above are LEGAL ways to hunt as a convicted felon.I am a convicted felon and have done some research on the issue. Check with your state because some states do not allow airgu hunting in managed areas, only private property

  • I can't hear a damn thing he's saying with all those gunshots.

  • it looks like the assassin just got a new easy to buy high tech silent weapon that will kill with a head shoot 75-100 metters out no class III permit needed no rifleing marks on the bullets.

  • @bullboo1 There is no such thing as a class III permit dumbass

  • Steam punk!

  • they had .44 cal air rifles in the 19th century

  • This thing is so awesome, would be interesting what speed and power

a 100 or 115grain hollow point bullet has out of this monster???!!!

  • I would like to see a ,177 BB/Pellet adaption for this for fun, i would buy it and a pump too so i can charge it again.

  • Good for small to medium size game.

  • imagine explosive tips...now that'll make your eyes water...

  • this looks like a snipers wet dream i mean a bullet a bout the size of a 9mm super quiet and very accurate

  • whats the wheel on the scope for

  • @hockeyplaya2029 its used to adjust the distance your fireing from

  • @hockeyplaya2029 it is a side wheel AO ajustment so you don't have to reach to the end of your scope to ajust the AO

  • this is the future

  • how much money?

  • That is intersting. I think I would prefer the low tech .41 cal air rifle made in the 17 hundreds though, but those are hard to find.

  • The Gun Testing Begins at 4:30 Thumbs up please.

  • Too bad we couldn't hear most of what he said.

  • This gun is incredible

  • bigbore airguns are not anything new. google barnespneumatic or quackenbush airguns. lewis and clark had one when they went exploring

  • THat's amazing!! Crosman is actually getting serious with their products, about damn time they do.

  • thats about half as loud as a .357 pistol.and quiter than a .22...wondering how quite it could be made....

  • Yes, but will it blend? That is the question.

  • @wadad17 WRONG! To be or not to be is the question.

  • @wadad17 YOU'RE ALL WRONG! Will you pay 1,500 Dollars for this?

  • @wadad17 i think that gun will blend the blend it self :)

  • Seems to be a geek's gun for sure. That maybe a oxymoron of sorts ?

  • How many shots can this lay off with a full 3000 psi in its reservoir?

  • I'm wondering if i could use hornady XTP pistol bullets in .38 cal

  • oh man im getting one of deze

  • do u need a permit for this ?

  • cool im guessing you can shoot .38 through it to, no problem. i make my own bullets so i could have a lot of fun with this gun. im gonna buy one.

  • I wonder how this stacks up against custom big bore air guns like Quackenbush and Barnes rifles.

  • i love airguns but you can get a nice big game firearm for 500$.your lucky to get a pump for under 300$ and the guns are usualy about 1000$.Airguns are the weapon to shoot small game with but for big game its a pointless weapon.

  • @mortalcare As i said to another user: The advantage of a airgun it's that you don't need a firearm licence to own one of these. Yeah is very expensive, but with a firearm the hearing damage it's higher compared to this rifle which it's noise output it's between the 85-90 decibels, and it's ammo it's cheaper at least in my country.

  • This is pretty awesome but when you can get a custom built Corsair for $575 why would you pay 3x that ? I can see paying more since it is more advanced but if you are looking at quietly tossing big lead, both would fit the bill. Don't get me wrong it is an awesome looking gun but I think the price will kill it.

  • @trpe71 The advantage of a airgun it's that you don't need a firearm licence to own one of these. Yeah is very expensive, but with a firearm the hearing damage it's higher compared to this rifle which it's noise output it's between the 85-90 decibels, and it's ammo it's cheaper at least in my country.

  • YES

  • Is it made in the USA?

  • It cost $2,000 in pyramydair now.

  • wouldnt this probably explode a squirrel

  • @igotteabaggedtoday Yes, please!

  • @igotteabaggedtoday explode is an understatement lol. disintigrate is more like it

  • i want it

  • What an excellent air rifle for dispatching rodents and small game.

Unfortunately here in the UK we have a legal limit of 12 foot pounds muzzle energy so 175 grain @ 800 fps = 248.76 foot pounds muzzle energy, that's 20 time the legal limit here.

You could probably get one on a firearms certificate but that would come with loads of restrictions on where you could use it.

    Still nice rifle.

  • For $1400+... and a buck a bullet.... Sorry guys.... ya just took the economy factor out of airgunning... I hope the 'Batteries are included"...

I'll take the AR... It's less expensive to shoot....

  • how much will this sell for?

  • According to a crosman article on the gun, it is going to cost from $1300 to $1400, not $8000.

  • this gun on pyramid air is $ 8,000

  • just buy a air tank for a paint ball gun there only 150 bucks

  • @thatoutherguy253 that's a co2 tank, wont work.

  • @timscott61495 i wasnt talking about c02 i meant a 4500psi 75 cubic inch compressed air tank for high end guns

  • @thatoutherguy253 Oh, well that could work. But it wouldn't hold as much air as a scuba tank so you would have to get it refilled a lot more often.

  • How much does it cost???

  • The only drawback seems to be charging the air tank. How many people have scuba equipment laying around, or have the money to buy that?

  • @MrBillTroop73

Every PCP gun owner. Or just about every PCP owner.

  • @AskWhyNow2day so, the rich people, with their expensive scuba equipment can afford to shoot this gun?

  • @MrBillTroop73 a scuba tank is only about $250. If you can afford this $1500 rifle i'm sure it won't be a problem.

  • @timscott61495 That's not so bad. I was thinking it would be much more. Thank you.

  • ??????

  • Man that's really interesting!

  • Very nice!

  • really cool air gun, i like to have that one

    fredde

  • Im confused ,,,,what is this ???An air powered large caliber rifle ????No noise ????

  • @idaru2 Basically yes. It will shoot any .357 bullet. It will send a 175 grain bullet at 800 feet per second. It makes very, very little noise with no recoil. We shot it at 75 yards an were knocking down steel targets than the .5.56 was struggling with. We were very impressed.

  • @2brothersadventures how many db of noise does it put out and how much is it and where can i buy it thanks

  • @2brothersadventures how old do you half to be to shoot or can you just have an adult

  • @freindif

As long as your parents own the rifle and supervise your shooting, you can be any age. Most laws only apply for owning and buying guns, not shooting them :) Have fun, be safe!

  • @2brothersadventures Where can you get this? How much is it?

  • @14sJakeB190 I don't believe it is out yet. The Crossman web page lists it at $1500.00. We will see when it hits the market what it retails for really.
