  • Nice job on the video footage...this not a common warbler and they have a tendency to be very high up in thick forest treetops.

  • @karenpato1 Thank you. I was doing research on them in SE Ohio with a field crew from OSU. We were studying the effects of timber harvest upon their nesting success. And yes...we spent 99.9% of the time looking up!

  • @Tachycinetabicolor .....I wonder if CERW would be up where I live in suburban Cleveland.

  • @karenpato1 Last field season we did a few surveys in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland and we had several CERWs in our surveys. In fact we heard some singing right under that giant bridge that crosses the valley where the train tracks are!
