Actually, that big red blob takes away from the effect. A gunshot hit won't show instant blood at impact. A small spot would work better on the front. The actor moves so quickly more blood isn't needed. Use fake blood dressing on a close-up of the victim.
I know, I could have made the blood blob a lot smaller, but I just thought up something fast. If I had Adobe After Effects, I could have probably made something better. If you know of any website to download realistic blood splatter animations with transparent backgrounds, I would be glad to receive a link or something.
I didn't use Adobe Premiere Elements to make the blood partially transparent - I used a different program called Jasc Animation Shop. However, there are other various ways to do it.
I inputted the muzzle flash as a very quick animation as if it were a picture at the tip of the gun. Then, I simply inputted the gunshot sound as well.
If its as easy as it sounds,I dont have to spend 5 minutes to make a very crappy gunshot effect. (If you watch say... spivot cell, then you can see some of my fx

That's an M14, not a shotgun.

thewolfpacisback 3 years ago
can u do this with adobe premiere elements 4.0?
underman1 3 years ago
Probably - I made this with Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0, so it can probably be done with a newer version.
tljjjr99 3 years ago
where did u get the blood effect thingy
underman1 3 years ago
I just made a blurry red blob with a partially transparent background. I don't have After Effects, so I couldn't really make it look that realistic.
tljjjr99 3 years ago
ok i see

Yeah, It could have been better; if I had After Effects, I could probably have added more better looking blood.

AAZproductions 4 years ago
Yes, I added the muzzle effect the same way you insert a picture in Adobe Premiere Elements.

which effect is that under?
Mo0mix 4 years ago
I added a partially transparent image of a gunshot blast and some fake blood and inserted the two animations into the video.
tljjjr99 4 years ago
Couldn't you make the shotgun blast louder? In real life it's MUCH louder.
SCORPIONSPEAR 4 years ago
It's just a sound effect, it doesn't really matter that much how loud it is - As long as it sounds like a reasonable gunshot in the video.
