  • Yes.

  • @jecwhiz yes i was still Using it for Food...but we got a New Nuker

  • Also, look at the size of the base! E39 right?

  • Correct....it is an E39.

  • Can't imagine how big that is in real life.

    Lemme guess...big?

  • i think the lamp is a little over 5 inches long.

  • So about the height of a PL-L or PL-C fluorescent plugin?

  • probably...its a little Taller than a 26 Watt PL Plugin.

  • i cant find a fixture for that size base :(.. i can get the lights without a problem but nowhere to plug them into.. so my search continues haha

  • The first thing that gets damaged is the wiring at the base....I have done the same and the bulb was out of service after that experiment:)))

  • hmmmm......well to my Suprise...as far as i can tell no Damage occured to the lamp at all....while being microwaved the area near the base covered with getter got very hot......

  • did u do this because you were bored

  • Maybe.....(Yes):-p

  • These lamps deserve it :P however I would not do this to a new lamp if it was mine...

  • well this lamp is a Westinghouse....well Really Abco its a Chineese lamp....and probably not as good as a Ge.

  • Did microwaving the lamp damage it?Was it new or used?

  • The Lamp is new....but no...it Didnt Sustain any Damage thank goodness.
