Hey, can you enlighten me on what you were doing between the kink and 12? Several of us have been trying to figure out why the brake lights--- where one would be flat out. Also, curious what the deal was on the 12 exit. I don't hear a missed shift, It almost looks like you didn't accelerate?
@L8Apexz Sure, going into the kink I found my brakes were soft to I dragged them a bit longer than I would have like to slow the car and ended up scrubbing too much speed. The brake lights where just to get the fluid pumped back up but I was full throttle the whole time until I entered the brake zone. My brakes were gone so I had to pump them again and down shift to try to slow enough not to go off track, then I turned in to scrub more speed. I
@mgrand34 Also, once in Canada corner I tried to grab 2nd and I got 4th instead, you can hear the car bog in the video and then I shift again to the correct gear.
You can never have too much information! Just because there is sound from either the announcer or crew chief/spotters doesn't mean you have to listen or respond (until you have time to do so). If nothing else it does add some detail to the in car video when put up on youtube ;)
Wow Evo had very good acceleration and corner exit traction but BMW has better corner entry and cornering speed
