  • Definitely the most uninformed bit o' info I've heard from you guys.

  • My girl friend is a very hot girl :-)

  • Actually stress lowers metabolism due to the sympathetic nervous system, and calm people have higher metabolism because they're more in harmony with their parasympathetic nervous system. Also everyone benefits from interval training. Sorry, love the show but aerobic training and interval training are both good for *everyone*.

  • Kevin, I had a question about fasting. I was wondering what your thoughts on fasting were, the duration, etc...

  • This doesn't seem evidenced based to me, exercise isn't good because it heats or cools us (the latter being immpossible). Therefore, the hot and cold variable which you seem to think is so pivotal to effective exercise to me seems irrelevant.

  • I agree. NEVER in my life have I heard about this "cold" "hot" bodytype. To me it is TOTALLY irrelevant.

  • Unfortunately I am a cold body type. :( I really want to boast my metabolism. Is there any excersise to increase the metabolism rate?

  • Well i'm usually a very cold person, but i'm high intensity when it comes to exercise and the amount of things i do in a day. So i suppose i'm half and half.

  • I have a slow metabolism, unfortunately. I seem to be cold most of the time. Your cat is really cute, by the way!

  • Hey Kevin

I run hot, slow metabolism. I have been told I am "SO Yang In" body type. So I do yoga. I didn't think about aerobics though. Any suggestions?

  • You should have Johnny 5 wear the harness (without leash attached) all the time. He will at least get used to that part.

  • Cold for sure.

  • i am definately a hot body type...one of my favorite exercises is biking but i find it can burn me out like you were talking about...i found Qi gong exercies, which are similar to calisthenics, works well for balancing.

  • It should be a bit wider so that the strapes don't dig into his fur; even if it is not tight. Have him wear it around the house without the clip-on leed. This is the only way that he is going to get use to it. Also, incorporate some of his things into the RV (toys, bed, blanket etc...). These things have the comfortable smell of home and of course they belong to him. Lastly, reassure him by holding him. Don't scare him!!!

  • Hello Kevin & Annmarie,

Johnny 5 is just talking in his own way; there is nothing wrong with that. Humans don't realize that animals will express themselves to you, whether you understand them or not. It is said that cats and dogs have an understanding level to that of a 3 or 5 year old human child (no kidding!!!). Cats are also very sophisticated and they don't take the nonsense that a dog would. His harness looks to be a bit thin (width wise). I hope that it is very comfortable for him

  • put a muzzle on that pussy

  • The best thing to do for the harness is to keep it on him all the time (Like a normal collar), and several times a day, add the leash to the harness and coax him along ..keeping in mind of his comfort level. Using treats or one of those dangley toys to get him moving. It takes a while =b.

  • Hi kevin i have a slow metabolism, i have been running cycling a lot doing aerobic exercise. i like to think that i am on a colder side. please suggest something for me i want to burn as much fat as fast as possible? thanks for the video

  • Very interesting..I think I am a little in between~

PS....as a general rule cats DO NOT like leashes or collars....they detest ANYTHING around them and they will just refuse to cooperate by just laying down like you described....Good Luck....

  • i know it sounds cruel, but have you tried scaring him into running in the other direction. it will help him run faster, definitely.

  • On the cusp I think....Have a lot of get up and go and drive...which would suggest heat, but can also be pretty chilled, leaning more towards your Kapha body type...I kinda lie in between both of you....ahem..in terms of hot and cold that is of course :D

  • hi Kevin and Annamarie! i love your videos! they are amazing, very helpful for me. i have one question. i would like to buy a dehydrator machine , but i do not know which brand is good. which one do you guys suggest it s god to buy?

  • All of the raw foodies have the an Excalibur Dehydrator. I'm a newbie so bought a cheap dehydrator and will upgrade to the more expensive Excalibur later on.

  • thanks for your answer . it was really helpful for me. i m just partially raw foody right now , but i hope tat i ll get there at one point . annamaria

  • I have a Good4U dehydrator that I got from rawguru. Works just as well as an Excalibur, runs quieter, and is cheaper. If you're wanting something that is like a real kitchen appliance, then you'll want a Cabelas. It's just a little bit more than the Excalibur.
