What Nix stated about shots coming from the fence correlates to about what 90 percent of all witnesses stated that day and thereafter. There always remains a small element of idiots who we will politely refer to as "SHEEPLE" who love to believe that the U.S. is lily white.
What was she getting off the trunk? I think she was collecting fragments of his skull. I saw a show about JFK recently that discredits the "back and to the left" motion as evidence by weakly saying "with a headshot, sometimes the head goes forward, sometimes it goes back". Well there's no way a shot form the back blows skull fragments backwards. The headshot had to have come from the front.
4. Jackie seems to be going after something on the back of the car itself. For years I thought she might have been trying to help the SS agent into the car (to what end, I don't know, but we can't count on Jackie being rational at a time like this, for obvious reasons) but she's turning and getting something off the trunk of the car before the secret service agent is even there, and then it looks like he shoves her back into the car, probably telling her to duck.
Jackie was attempting to retrieve part of Jack's skull so she could have the doctors do what... glue it back on? When the rest of his brains were all over the back seat and her dress? Jackie was not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I've never seen this film before, only the Zapruder film. Several things are clear now that weren't clear to me before. 1. The car does nearly stop around the time of the head shot. 2. The secret service agent ducks when he gets to the car, evidence of a fourth shot (The Warren Commission specifies three shots), if you count the neck shot to Kennedy, the one in his back that doubles him over, the head shot, now the one that made the secret service agent duck.
I do like the music too but I wanna dance to it, not see this tragic event unfolding w/ it. It was a terrible moment in history really. Good work nonetheless.
The "enhanced" version looks flat, almost devoid of color, and lacking the sharpness and contrast of the Groden film. So, it what way can it legitimately be labeled "enhanced?"
The limo does NOT come to a complete stop for the shooting. The limo slowed down becasue of the reaction of the president from the first shot.He slowed down to turn and look at the President, after which he steps on it just as the president is shot again in the head
thank you Gerda, for this excellent work of power you showed us. More likely now, I was ALWAYS wondering why those two people at the knoll, weren't mentioned in the history of JFK assassination.
Excellent work, you've basically re-captured history with more clarity than ever. Between Nix and Zapruder's opposite photo angles, you really get a good sense of what occurred in this horrible scene. Thanks for sharing.
its a camera from 1963, stuff is gonna look a little out of proportion, give it a break, what does clint hill pushing jackie back in the seat anyways have to do with proving a second gunman. ... my 2 cents
What an amazing video, well done. The one thing that bugs me about the nix film is that the grassy knoll area where some people say there was a second gunman is completely blacked out by the shadows of the trees but yet every other part of the fence line is light.
You can see that Clints very obvious white sleave cuff-grab Jackie with his right hand and put his left hand on her shoulder, and their heads are very close together, which is not seen in the Z-film.
C. Hill affadavit: "I forced her back into her seat"
Nix film ends before you see the shove from Clint...
O. Nix to M. Lane--"Frames were missing-here and there..."
Why would Hill (And others) say he pushed her back in the seat---If he didn't....it's not in the Z-film.
Thank's Gerda, Now it's obvious Clint Hill does grab Jackie and attempts to push her back in the car just like he and other witnesses said...Funny, the extant Z-film does not show theese actions by Jackie and Clint????
Emory Roberts ordered two agents to stay behind at the airport. They would have been on the rear of the limo. The driver of the follow up car told Vince Palamara that Roberts ordered agents to "stay put" during the shooting.
It is interesting that Roberts was also good buddies with LBJ and was given a nice Whitehouse job after LBJ took over.
Very well made video and makes my efforts look like shit, The music at the start was a bit out there, but the music at the end was awesome. Thumbs Up!
(Cont.) Also, the woman who is in the far right of the screen, walking toward Elm Street, dressed in olive colored raincoat, black hair(seen in the top of the frames just as the head shot is fired in the Z film). Watch her reaction to the head shot.
Your videos are always fascinating. Is there any way that you could enhance the portion of the Nix film that shows the young couple in the infield grass area, the woman has a white top on, the man, next to her, a blue shirt or jacket. In the film they are adjacent to the light pole. If you watch the girl, she is standing in place, and as the limo is speeding off, she appears to be ( I don't know how else to describe it) marching in place, or jumping up and down.

seems to me,by the reaction of ppl there,if they HAD heard shots from T.S.B.D.,why would SO MANY run to the "knoll"? Just an amature observation...
One of MANY MANY quearries about the events of that day in Tx.
