Yes this game is very tough in the beginning when you're new to the battle system. This is an extremely unique battle system in my opinion and also very difficult when you're not experienced. If used right thought, it could get very fun and exciting.
Is this game like Profile Lenneth in that you only have a limited amount of time to do everything? And is it a little more guided on what to do? In Lenneth I just couldn't get into the game because I was always scared I would be wasting time and not get things done in time. And the places I chose to go always seemed to have enemies that were too difficult for me.
They play in two very different ways. Silmeria is more linear, directed, and focused, but loses out much of the individuality and story of the Einherjar in the process. Both can be very tough though ; Lenneth I consider to be much easier than Silmeria...
Sooort of. You move at the same time as enemies, but they'll only take action (attack/move/whatever) when you do. So you can stop moving around and that'll pause the action. It's hard to describe, but it's a very fun and different system.
No, not really. Plenty of game developers have burned Sakuraba out of all of his ideas and originality, which is only natural considering how many games he's composed. But Nobuo is still pretty fresh, since he keeps only to Square.
I love Sakuraba's works, but I find Uematsu's more refreshing.
Uematsu hasn't been doing anything for Square since 2002 or so, I think. (If you don't count FFXII's main theme) He's with Mistwalker now, and yeah, he's rather fresh ATM since he's not involved in nearly as many projects as Sakuraba. For the sheer amount of work Sakuraba has done, he's still in pretty good shape, you have to admit. I think him and Uematsu are on similar levels.
Sekito, Sakuraba >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Uematsu

This sounds similar to Golden Sun if you listen closely starting at 0:08. If it doesn't to you, sorry, but it's just an opinion.
