Wow it's not often i get an easy one to i.d. lol but they are only easy if you know ;-). Those lyric's are from 1989 Ruthjoy - Soul Power! Wicked tune! It's here on the tube - although a bad copy - but that's the one you need in your life! She was from Birmingham UK and was part of the group Krush before goin solo. So now you know! ;-) Peace. Snow.

Great, great song by Ms Graham and Paul Hardcastle AKA Kiss The Sky. The turntable gymnastics in the beginning are a bit annoying though. I'm not a fan of that sort of thing.

I've looked for it for some time now. I had this Kiss The Sky tape(yes tape)lol back in the 90's and I would play this song to death.

They released an album in 93'. I saw it when I went to the U.S. There were a couple of good tracks but this was the best by far.

I was doing A & R for Giant Records out of NY. It took me a year to track this down! A dj at Nell's had a test pressing with no label copy. The late Erskine Thompson, who was managing, Loose End's Carl McIntosh at the time told me to look at the matrix number that was cut in the space between the label, and the end of the record, so he could find out where the record had been mastered. He led me to Paul Hardcastle, and I cut a deal for the US w/Motown. RIP Erskine...a great record man.
