You really got to respect Curt Hennig, he retires earlier that year but came back to have that match with Bret Hart and put him over as the new IC Champ. Despite being in such agonizing pain, I would imagine. Curt Hennig/Mr Perfect truly on the best ever and so talented.

This is easily one the best matches of all time. Realistically this was the end of Perfect's career, his back was in terrible shape, he didn't wrestle another match until late '92 early '93 and was never the same. At the same time this was the start of Hart's rise to the top, pretty much taking Hogan's place over the next 2-3 years. You don't see matches like this anymore, which is flat out sad.

Truly the beginning of the iconic Bret Hart - SummerSlam '91 and who better to beat that none other than Mr. Perfect(a great wrestler himself) It's ashame Bret had the stroke, because despite his falling out with WWE, he still had some wrestling left in him and could have gone on after the collapse of WCW. Glad to see him back, should be interesting this next wrestlemania, I just hope he's not risking his health for a McMahon match..You go Bret-a true wrestling mega-star!
