  • GRASS SNAKES RULE ! ! favourite british snake

  • @SNAKEMAN756 There aren't many other snakes in Britain, the Grass snake and Adder is pretty much it. The Slow Worm isn't a Snake, it's just a legless Lizard, (Yes, there's a difference)

  • in r compost there is 3slow worms and an adder and the adder attackd us

  • where do you find slow worms do you know if u find them in scotland(greencok)

  • slow worms are so pretty :3

  • I really do hate it when I find slow worms under some old stuff I have in my garden! I hate the way the move so quickly when you don't expect it! But they are harmless things - it's me that should get over my silly phobia! :)

  • @OoiwearpradaoO That is true, me and my mum moved some old carpet that was left in our garden (for some reason?XD) and I saw a slow worm under there, my mum basically SHIT her self, with her crazed phobia of snakes, well, it looked like a snake anyway, lmfao. :} I picked it up, and I stroked it, aw, It's little tongue :33

  • thats class. If you get any spare grass snakes, send them up here. Check out my videos to see the site I have for snakes, its a huge pond, south facing slope, compost heaps etc. We already have slow worms but have not yet seen grass snakes, but they're pretty rare up here.

  • Were abouts in the UK are you from? I live in the North East and never seen any snakes or anything. To cold i guess ;s

  • There are plenty of good reptile sites in the North East. Join NERAG the North east reptile & Amphibian group and join some of their surveys trips. Just google ARG uk to find out more. free to join. I have been watching adders on the moors in county durham since feb 12th this year they only need 6 degrees C to become active.

  • Grass snakes are cool nice find I had an adder in my garden up in Redway a few years ago. slow worms are quite rare now old carpet and compost attracts them.

  • the snake migt take the slow worm

  • I've found an adder taking a slow worm, and the grass snake has had goldfish (I have a photo!), so i suppose that is possible.

  • I found a grass snake by mistake, I was riding my bike and it came right it front and I stopped right before I ran over it

  • u lucky b***rd ive been looking for a grass snake for over a year the only one i have found was dead :(

  • That's a giant worm! I don't think I would like snakes so close...if he got in, wouldn't other not so friendly guys join the pack?

  • Hi. They only other snakes we get are adders. I haven't seen one in the garden for a few years - they are pretty shy!

  • I guess it all depends on what area you are in. Good luck composting and critter watching.

  • actually there are 3 types of snake we get the adder obviously, grass snake and smooth snake

  • You really need to educate yourself I have never read so much rubbish in my life.

  • wow,lucky find
