they're huge and probably always will be but I don't think it will be missed as much as you're saying. There are plenty FPS's that are coming out and will continue and they'll get better because everyone wants to mimic or getting that COD feel, and that's where the credit is due. They in a way laid a new blueprint for FPS success and also great FPS failure when a game fails or tries to hard.

Battlefield 3 is a sequel to Battlefield 2, but it uses a brand new game engine built from the ground up, it's not even based on BFBC2's engine, it was built from the ground up. MW3 uses the MW2 engine with minor improvements.

because if this the knife isnt placed on the joystick it is placed on the right trigger. controls dont need to be copied from one game to the rest that would just ruin the whole experience of learning how to play the game. now please, if you are going to make a video about why cod is better than battlefield then please use relevant facts to back up you statements, otherwise you just look like a complete idiot. cont....

take for instance the knife in cod... since cod is a very fast paced action shooter the knife is activated by clicking the right joystick (unless you change the controls to something different) therefor if you are taken by surprise by an enemy you can quickly click the joystick to whip out your knife and kill the enemy. in battlefield a smart player will only knife an enemy if their back is facing you. cont...

the battlefield franchise isnt the most popular franchise around and nor is the best either. cod isnt the best franchise either. the battlefield games are better because they are still played years after they are released. bad company 1 still has a good size fan base and it was released way back in 2008. cod4 released in 2008 does still have players but they or at least the vast majority of them hack their way through the game. cont....

the reason that call of duty is so popular, isnt because its the better game, its because it is what it is, and thats being a noob shooter. anyone can walk into a call of duty game online and have a good time. there are the few that cant but maybe they shouldnt be playing video games anyway. any new player in battlefield will find it difficult to get a good game because it is alot more difficult to get the hang of with needing to use strategies to succeed. cont.....

im no fanboy but battlefield is the better game and heres why... activision and all of its sub companies release a cod game every year. dice release a battlefield game every 2 years. now what does that tell you? it tells you that dice puts alot more time and effort into their games and they get the desired result, they still have alot of people playing the first game they created battlefield 1942. how many people still play cod of duty 3? fuck all. continued to next comment......
