Dante is in a fighting game called marvel vs capcom 3 and it's uprage ultimate. Namco may never have dante in one of their games becaue of the feud with Capcom continues on since the end of the eighties. I might get the fifth and fourth tekken haven't played it in awhile.

for the second costume(2p) you can use slick back for the custom hair so it will look just like Dante in DMC4 without combination of DMC1 but it is cool any way it is.

If Dante ever appears in a fighting game, it will likely be Soul Calibur 5 or 6 depending on contract issues. Hey, it fits the character; Dante is a sword swinger, he's a demon hunter, Soul Calibur is a swordplay game series, and Soul Edge is a demonic blade. The Soul Calibur "plot" BEGS to have Dante in it; only a matter of time.

Dante was planned to be in Soul Calibur 3 but they cancled the idea for unknown reasons. Dante should be in one of the Soul Caliburs....he and NERO,maybe even Vergil...but dont expect another Soul Calibur for 1 1/2 - 3 years

@Kestrel457 I think I know why; Capcom had already loaned out the character to one company, re-loaning him to Namco would have been a legal nightmare involving Atlus, Capcom, and Namco. That is you would have to send attorneys to Atlus (Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne), and then to Capcom, and then to Namco, and then you would have to arrange a meeting, all those logistics would have cost too much.

@Kestrel457 you're probably right; loaning out a character isn't that simple, because even creative stuff is company property, there has to be a licensing and timing term that is, "you can have Dante only for this long" and so on. Even by Soul Calibur 3 (2005) the contract with Atlus must have still not yet expired. By now though, for sure its expired, so, we can expect to see Dante in the next game.

@Kestrel457 additionally, Dante would not have worked in Soul Calibur 3 anyway; it was too gameplay driven compared to other "soul" titles. Think about it; with the soul series lately Namco has been discarding story and focusing on gameplay. If Capcom decides to make a story heavy SC title again, like the one on the Dreamcast, with a quest mode similar to the PS1 classic (the original "soul" game), then, Dante will appear for sure.

In a way, video game characters are like movie stars; some game characters are more popular than others and the mere pressence of a character, will sell a game.
