I too live in a neighborhood where the cops won't come around after nightfall, unless the chopper is flying over head! It's happened three nights in a row now.. I think they're watching me.
This is not an uncommon way to see police (or peace) officers behave for me. Granted, I do not live in a large community, or even in the USA. I am a Canadian, and for the most part, in small town Saskatchewan at least, they are courteous, and treat you like you treat them. I have even been complimented on my courteousness when receiving a ticket for a seatbelt violation.
Wow, the cops in New Hampshire are really nice. Cops around here probably would have written up the drunk guys for public drunkenness and then made up a lie about them going to their car so they could get them on dui too. I miss New Hampshire.
I agree with many of the other posts. Excellent series of videos, good production values, and gun advocates did not come across as crazed fanatics (thank you!). I appreciated Officer Maxfields cantor. It shows that Police are people too and civility is always in order (yes, even when some are jackasses).
@MrRoute2 I 2nd your opinion. I encourage anyone before you go out and hate on police, why don't you go to your local police department and sign up for some ride alongs? I have done just over 120 hours of ride alongs between 2 of my local agencies and it was very eye opening as to the things police deal with nightly. And try to find a department that will let you ride past 2 am on a weekend so you get to see some action. You may have to do several rides to get a good understanding.
This was a well produced series of videos with the views of one individual police officer.
I think he could have been asked far more critical questions an a whole host of issues but maybe for the scope of things should be kept minimal, maybe that should be spared for others higher say, police chief, mayor, etc.
Maybe also asking too many would be too forward.
Hopefully now there is more open dialog between the PD there as well as public officials.
I bet it was officer Teft that gave him a ticket for riding on the side walk on main street Keene...
I assume this because once at like 1am I got on my bike and rode 10 feet before turning off the side walk to go through the back alley's... I didn't make it to the alley before jackass Officer Teft pulls me over on his... "10 speed mountain bike police cruiser" and gave me a ticket... that cop was the biggest jackass ever.
The officer in this video had to have made at least 20 - 30 turns / U-Turns in the course of this video series. I didn't see a turn signal, did anyone else?
New Hampshire needs to follow AK and VT in eliminating all gun laws, and then redux Montana's elimination of laws against silencers (and extend it by legalizing all automatic guns). In addition to that, they can then make their state a haven for rest and relaxation by legalizing drugs. I also agree that this cop showed amazing intelligence and courage in relation to almost every other cop I have ever known (Bill Masters might have him beat). I wonder if he's a member of L.E.A.P.?

Thank you Sam.
Thank you Ian.
And more particularly, thank you Mr. Maxfield.
If this was what one could see on "Cop TV" people would still have hope.
The internet realy is the new "TV."
Thank you all for bringing hope via the internet.
As I wright MY history of this rEVOLUTION, Mr Maxfied seems good enough to be in one of the songs. ;0 [Can I call you Max?] :o
