@Veldream01 Oh god please do not reforge full haste lol, you will never kill anyone. The casting time seems fast in some of them because of rapid fire. As nice as it is to have a lot of haste it's not worth the loss of crit or mastery.

@Norling99 our capability to kite or burst without worrying about mana runs out (unless you had low from before) is now gone cause we HAVE to use some ability which needs casting time in order to get high amount of focus back up(just like warrior gain their rage but starts with full focus just like rogues as it recharges slower than rogues)

Im messing around with haste as SV for the focus regen. i can get off 3 steady shots with a crabs pin. Helps alot because SV is so focus starved without the new aspect we get at 81. Sittin at about 25% haste

@MrAromisuola Except that the disarm is only good versus melee and some melee can still do a lot of dmg without a weapon (dks/rets). Not to mention without aspect of the fox, that 5 sec web is vital to getting your steady shots off against all classes. I've tried out every pvp pet and I always go back to the spider.
Hey, I have to say DAM ur by far the best survival hunter iv seen in awhile, and i cudnt careless what ppl say about u only fighting warriors, i would suggest going for a crab pet coz well.. RoS = (^.^), stops u being critted makes dealing with casters a little easier if they can't crit u =) + they still have the Pin 4 second snare =] i use MM for pvp i find the focus easier to deal with + mastery is amazing for pvp use pve/pvp gear to max ur mastery, as the resi Nerf was... well.. evil

Thanks for the reply. Everyone on the forum's are moaning like hell. I can't tell if the hunter is truly messed up or they're all trolling. You seem to be doing good in that video, arena might be a little different though.
@LudakoT in all fairness he is killing some of the worst players i have seen. The fact is we just simply cant get focus back against every class and our damage output for the 2-3 shots we can pull off in 100 focus is pathetic. the fact hyrbrids can heal through our damage says it all for me. Arenas are going to be utter shite, always going to be out of focus becos of the LoS in arenas which is 90% of the time. either let them dispell our venoms or chase after the pillar humpers and meele them.
@xCoNxKarMa Hybrids are healing through our dmg because healing is massively OP at 80. It's frustrating now but it will not stay that way at 85. A legit concern is our terrible, dispellable MS and our signature shots still doing way too little dmg for the focus cost. And yes the players in this movie are pretty bad and mostly pures. My other movie is a better showcase of what hunters can do against more classes but of course that was before focus.
@Eltomo8524 I wasnt calling you a bad player in anyway, your movement seems good, its just i dont see any focus regen at all from steady's becos me and like many of other hunters are struggling to get a enough steady's of to get any focus back to use another weak as hell focus dumping shot. i find it almost impossible to kill classes such as prot warriors now, I think they need to get rid of our minium range on steady shot, cos any half decent class will abuse this mechanic and make us useless.
@WindTyphoonify MY friend who is a beta hunter says AoTF doesnt help as much as people are making it out to be. The fact our focus regen is based on a shot which has a cast time, every player with a bit of skill knows this and are just simply going to interupt it. The damage out put he says for a cobra shot is 3k compared to mages who are hitting him 40k in the same cast time. Not sure if thats a balancing issue but there is no hope for hunters in patch 4.0.3 if they keep it that way he says.

@RIGUY75 yeah i tried BM and it does have a much better focus regen, which helps against meele i suppose but casters just tare us apart now with there high damage and all these damage absorbtions they have and now they have the same range. Survival is much more fun that BM but more frustrating, to many bugs, traps get resisted 9 out of 10 times but once against casters eat us. Dont think ive managed to get a decent shadow priest below 90% hp before dying so far.

@LudakoT I've been playing WoW since TBC but I actually didn't start seriously PvPing until mid season 7. And as far as hunters in 4.0.1 we could use some tweaks and bug fixes but we aren't that bad. What's more annoying is the buff to resilience without a healing nerf like they did last time. Great for hybrids, not great for heal-less hunters lol.

@atttt5 Since It's just BG's I abused PvE gear a bit, replacing any off piece without agility (neck, rings, cloak) with raid gear. Now that agility gives 2 attack power the old pvp pieces with just ap weren't worth it to me. And also I gemmed full agility still (no haste like I experimented with before) and reforged everything for full mastery.

@LudakoT I've been playing WoW since TBC but I actually didn't start seriously PvPing until mid season 7. And as far as hunters in 4.0.1 we could use some tweaks and bug fixes but we aren't that bad. What's more annoying is the buff to resilience without a healing nerf like they did last time. Great for hybrids, not great for heal-less hunters lol.

nice ... and what happened to resilience btw?? my huntard has 6600 self buffed ap and cant hit that high in pvp situation -- Ill figure out soon when i start paying for my guy again but i really wunna know :p

@atttt5 Since It's just BG's I abused PvE gear a bit, replacing any off piece without agility (neck, rings, cloak) with raid gear. Now that agility gives 2 attack power the old pvp pieces with just ap weren't worth it to me. And also I gemmed full agility still (no haste like I experimented with before) and reforged everything for full mastery.

@Eltomo8524 What addons are you using? Especially the addon that shows the bar over their head through walls and stuff.
