I'm upset. "Sucked Out," is the song I always reference when people talk about infectious or catchy songs. I didn't know these guys came back in 2009. I would have bought a show ticket in Chicago. DON'T BREAK UP YET! Come back to chicago first, and make sure I know about it.
@SuperdragOfficial Why wouldn't I have done that already? This is thrilling for me. Mostly because of just the one song, though. Thanks for the heads up. Doing it now.
For the last 16 years, Superdrag has been the most underrated and overlooked band in rock and roll. Spread the word. This has been the blueprint for bands like the Foo Fighters (Chris Shifflet even said so). It must be the hair.
@OnEsTaB27 Dave Grohl should thank Superdrag before and after every show for giving him something to try and replicate. Key word: try. Superdrag reigns supreme.
I loved superdrag back in the day. Censored burning money on MTV...so funny. HAd to censor it because if Uncle Sam saw an image of George W B...I mean Washington on TV they might suicide bomb us. Glad to see Superdrag is up to know good.
Usurpers Unite! great lyrics, powerful song. some of the clouds are not clouds. some of those jets pose death threats. its coming around. coming around. sometimes brains are mundane. entertained and restrained and sealed up tight. all the aspartame and the video games and the drugs in the food keeping you subdued weve gotta usurp the power. the devil seeks who he may devour. keep your life intact. the liars in his service conspire to make me nervous. i am certain of that.
Awesome lyrics really great message, I really give it up to these guys for speaking out about the unjust wars as well as the poisoning of our food supply. chem-trails are being sprayed above you right now! Resist the new world order!
As a huge fan of Superdrag AND also being a dub head, I have to say Aspartame is that rare instance where two distinctly different sounds mesh so well together.
@muckdog12760 I love the fact that some members of the Foo Fighters have cited Superdrag as a blueprint for their music. Interesting Fact: John's "Arigato", I believe, was recorded at the studio owned by Grohl.
so many artists are singing out about the new world order, "some of the clouds are not clouds" ? sounds like chemtrails to me. and the new thievery corporation album begins with "sound the alarm, it's martial law" ... you said it parnell: the truth is rising!
I've been waiting for a new album for a while now guys! I never thought the reunion would happen but im glad it did. After hearing about the new release I've been playing all of my albums on repeat again. Every release this band has is a solid record! I grew up loving this band and I still do. I wish them only but the best!

"If you want to usurp the power, I'll be ready in half an hour."
This is why this is not playing all over the TV. The TV is the 'powers that be's little brainwashing factory.

Industry Giants is the best rock album of 2009. I can't believe Superdrag continues to be overlooked by people out there.

So great to have the old lineup together, even if the new album pales in comparison to "Regretfully" and "Head Trip."
I think "Filthy & Afraid" could be a legitimate single with radio airplay.
