  • I Could watch this over.. and over.. he is so genuine

  • tell keith to do a tab book please!

  • Even though the chords are not too hard, its the melody which shows his talent easily. You can sing along with the guitar!

  • Uh, one word: WOW.

  • KU Has great hand tone.

  • where did you get this video?!

no other artist would do this, keith is awesome

still looking for a tutorial for the amazing solo in stupid boy

  • Wow he is so good at guitar here!

  • @superskwrl LOL he's playing 3 chords, he has a lot better skills then this video shows lol

  • I love Keith Urban, I seen him twice in concert he's AMAZING (: I am going to learn this!

  • who takes the time to show fans how to play a guitar part? The dude rocks!!!

  • your my favorite

  • yor my fav

  • i think its awesome that he made this video. i wish he would do this more often. there's nothing like learning a song straight from the source...

  • simple bro, he's playing 1) a "d" chord, then sliding 3rd string from 9th fret to 11th, 2) "a" chord, then sliding 3rd string from 7th fret to the 9th, and 3) playing a "g" chord then sliding 3rd string from 2nd fret to the 4th.

  • @KU88888 Thanks!

  • Lol Keith, I love you but this tutorial sucks.

  • Best. Guitar. Player. EVER!

  • @GossipGirlAtForks this isn't a good example of his skills, he is playing 3 chords right here lol.

  • @nicholasczapiewski True... I'm a big fan and love all his songs (:

  • awhe looks cute when hes concentrating!

  • ugg i cant see that last note very well where does he have his fingers?

  • so for the A and G chords, Once you've barred the 5th fret, where do your fingers go?

  • 20 000th view :) thanks for posting

  • Is he sliding two frets for both barre chords?

  • yes

  • what is the fingering for the D chord he is playing?

  • it's a D barre chord, so it's his middle on 7th fret D string, ring finger 7th on G string and barre 5th fret with 1st finger.

  • ps that was on my ipod touch

  • hey to answer the question wat the last chords he was playing is it goes d 5strums then slide same thing with the a chord but then with the g 16-13 strumsbut no slide then go tho 2 stums for wen the words come go dd then aa then gg gg as it goes to kiss and tell its just not my style and then dd aa while it says but the nite is yong and its been a wile

  • not that this video displays it but Keith is seriously one of the most underratted guitar players. He is gifted beyond belief

  • @dan7509 yeahh...him and brad paisley and maybe zac brown are the best country guitar players in music today

  • he is so sexy! i think i just fell in love. :)

  • he is such a badass!

  • how'd you come by this video??? You an insider???

  • he's a spy!

  • how bad ass is this!!!! wish there more of these lol

  • any1 know what was the last chords he played?

  • yes it is. unless you have been playing guitar for 10+ years.

  • huh? this is weird. he says its d position but it doesnt look like a d at all. can anyone tell me what chord that is?

  • he is playing a D barre chord.

  • He pretty much just down picks right for the palm mute effect?

  • Thanks nicholars. I knew there must be a logic to the madness, lol. Glass slide, cool. I have one, just not for my pinky, but my ring finger. Keith Urban is awesome. What kind of acoustic guitar is he playing? Is it an old Gibson?

  • Actually, you can fret the last chord either way! Sorry!

  • Ok, why does he use an E chord shape on the 5th fret do do the last part instead of a regular power chord? Don't know, buy I'm doing it the easy way! LOL. Awesome song, brother!

  • because he uses a slide on his pinky for the solo.

  • Love the tapping! Love Keith Urban.

  • awsome

  • hey i have a question does keith use delay pedal for sweet thing its one of my favorites and its in drop d right

  • soo.. this is my dream.. keith urban just taught me part of his song on guitar.. hahah. mm. :)

    THANKS for posting.

  • why did you comment on this song 4 times? Listen, for begginers this is the easiest song he has. no riff, and basibally 4 chords. Days go by is tuned in DADGAD and has a very complicated riff etc. stupid boy is also extrememly complicated. this is the easiest song he has ever released.

  • he rules! AM I RIGHT PEOPLE

  • why does he look like he doesnt want to do it?

  • he was in the studio for so long, im sure he was just tired.

  • Hi, I love that song!!!! and im a first yr guitar palyer and lets put it tis way ui suck! this helps alot

  • love the australian accent!

  • Comment removed

  • lol, i never said i was...

  • does anyone have the actual chords in tab form i cant see his hand for the second and third chords

  • he's barreing the D on the 5th fret and playing with his 2nd and third finger. barreing the A on the 5th fret and playing with his 2nd and 3rd finger and playing the G barre chord in open E formation. make sense?

  • not really, can u explain more please. i am noob. what are the fingerings for each chord?

    nice video

  • This doesn't make much sense. Do you mean he drops the root and the barre on the G to form an open E style chord?

  • Man how do you get these videos? All of your videos rock!

  • haha thanks!! i'm sneaky sneaky. if you see your uncle anytime soon (probably not cuz he's on tour lol) but say hi for me (nick from vancouver!!) and i'll be seeing him upclose again on sept. 16 :)

  • sorry, i meant in between the chords he is playing

  • sorry, i meant slide down 2 frets

  • can anyone tell what kind of slide he is doing between the chords?

  • he only uses a slide on the solo, i dont understand.
