this is the broadway version, it came before the movie. the movie originally had some of these scenes but they got taken out cos people didnt like the sad ending.

The stage show is completely different to the movie. And it came first, so it is the movie which changed the ending etc.

The final version of this plant is really cool. It moves more fluently than alot I have seen. That or the puppeteer was really strong. Good job!

yeah, my friend is the puppeteer for our production. I'm spot op, and where I stand (catwalks, next to a hunk of metal that's been heating for several hours) gets to about 116 degree (and this is an actual reading, not an exaggeration)...and I still feel bad for him. I've had to help him into the puppet so many times, and I can't even imagine being in it for the length of time he is.

Our plant is pretty similar, just more brightly colored.

I LOVE this school! Good budget because the plant is amazing. The actors/actresses are good and the outfits are exactly like the movie. BROVO!

in the original broadway version, audrey dies. that's just how it was originally written. they changed it for the movie to have the happily ever after hollywood ending. we just went right by the script. :)

Well, my production had one of the cool kids as the voice and a varsity football player as the puppet so, drama kids aren't exactly the geeky kids anymore. leastways, not in my district.
