  • Wow this is some help coming from a guy whose doing the lifting and holding for that scrony lookin dude. Forreal, have the incliner do the reps while the spotter is describing the proper motion and controll of the excercise instead of having both hands on the bar and then leaving it on the stick person for half a minute. Or maybe hes just giving the other guy a pair of hands while he speaks english in a slow manner.

  • did you notice rajiv's hand grip...his thumbs are behind the bar...this is totally wrong and potentially fatal... when grasping the bar, one should always wrap the thumbs around the bar so that the 4 fingers and thumbs meet in front of the bar.

  • no... it is very natural for the incline press to be somewhat more difficult to than the flat press... example: I flat bench press 320 lbs for 6 reps... but my incline is only 270 6 reps.

  • The narrator of this clip provides correct techniques in doing incline bench pressing. The bar must lightly touch the chest and then pushed back up- some people incorrectly go half way. Also, repetitions of 6-8 are sufficient. More than this is unnecessary and less is insufficient.
